「The wifi is not great. So if you are planning to have some office work, I recommend take 5G device with you. Vodafone 4G worked for us but if you sit near the window. The cottage is nice and as advertised. However, 2 things don't do in its favor: 1) The cottage is surrounded by amazing view but the cottage itself has no view ( the windows open to the street and house opposite). It is bit boring if you plan to spend day inside or on rainy day. 2) The Clun itself has nothing much except for...

「The rooms were immaculate and even had a a book in there explaining the history behind the building which was really interesting. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were great all for good pricing. The area is very quiet but there’s plenty of places to go that’s within walking distance or 5-10 minutes in the car but it truly is set out as the Victorian/Tudor era. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Overall amazing stay and would definitely come again!」

「The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again.」

「A lovely hotel in a great location. Large comfortable room, with great bed. Very nice food with a big selection on the menu. Very dog friendly. Nice garden with adjoining garden to the castle garden, so room to exercise your dog. Close to beautiful walking areas. The perfect break」

「The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. 」
