“I liked the ease of check-in and check-out. The room was clean, but the paint on the walls was dingy with stains, and in need of a fresh coat. The furniture is all very old and dated, but perfectly functional. The beds were comfortable enough, but the pillows need an update. There was a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board which was helpful. “Honestly not a bad place to stay at! Literally the one and ONLY thing that did it for me…was AS we were leaving, we go to grab our phones off the charger’s that are next to the bed!! We SEE a cockroach… we go through everything to make sure we’re not taking anything with us or make sure nothings inside. We left in a rush feeling icky. Also I wouldn’t say it was SUPER quiet because we could hear people passing by.”

I used silicone ear plugs to help with noise since the air conditioning unit and traffic can be loud. It has excellent hot water and a small refrigerator, which I really appreciate. “The Dexter will be nice once they get all of the construction done; address the hot water issues, and maybe add a chair to the room and perhaps a floor lamp, as well. In addition, they have the tiniest rolls of toilet paper with no extras available in the room, and they hardly had any shower gel in the bottle to use. Parking is at a premium- especially with all of the contractor trucks using available spots. It is a minimalist style boutique hotel. You will not talk to a front desk person after……
