“The unit was very clean however there was a terrible odor when we walked in. We smelled it each time we entered. There was no hair dryer and very few towels (only one for each of us for a 4 day stay). They did bring more towels once we requested them. The ac would not go below 77 when we made several attempts to lower it a little as instructed by the host. Overall the unit was very nice and quiet besides the traffic noise because it is on a busy road. It was nice it had a washer/dryer although……

“Our stay in Elk Rapids was wonderful, clean, and cozy! The location is perfect—easily within walking distance to town (under a mile) and right across the street from Bass Lake, where we loved playing cards by the water. The town is incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. We walked to the free Monday night movies, the Wednesday street vendor market, and the Friday morning farmers market. Short’s Brewing is only a half-mile walk for great beer and food trucks, and there are three beaches within a……
