“1. No lift for 2nd floor units, narrow stairs to carry heavy luggage. 2. Too narrow doors to move freely in and out of rooms 3. First two nights Airconditioning was controlled by the owner and it was put to off or not working, suffered in heat after heated email/text , they switched it ON. 4. Breakfast has very specific timings per room , need to visit only in that 30 min window for breakfast. 5. Near to Airport, and near by general shops and bustop. I will not recommend this place to anyone,……

“I was given a room that had windows that could not be opened. The fire alarm went off twice during my 11 days stay and in the very early hours of the morning. The room had a musty smell. All of this when the room costs were nearly £140 per night. Had the staff not been quite friendly and supportive, it would not have been a manageable stay. I would not stay here again. The good parts however are the gym facilities, the rooftop pool and the restaurant with good food.”

“I really enjoyed my stay. I was able to travel easy due to the property being a five minute walk from a few different bus stops. There are also some decent places to eat out around as well. Chris was an awesome host helping me whenever I needed it. Everything was provided, except for shampoo. I brought my own, but others may find that unexpected. The WiFi can also be temperamental depending where in the room you are, but not unusable. If you want a fair price short term stay, this is a fantastic……

“We had a lovely time staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful: Neil in particular gave us lots of good tips for what to see. There was a small hiccup with the check in process (I think stemming from the fact that we'd booked through Expedia and not directly through the hotel itself), but that was resolved without fuss. Location wise, although the hotel is on a busy pedestrian street we did not have any noise issues. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the rooftop, the views are……

“The owners welcome you like family. They’re very thoughtful and detailed oriented. The property is right smack in the middle of everything, which is very convenient. Although it’s in the midst of bars and restaurants, we don’t hear anything from outside. I had good sleep every night. The room was quiet and cool. The bed very comfortable. I have nothing but compliments for this boutique hotel. Will definitely stay again.”

“We absolutely loved the property! It was a quick ride on the ferry to Valetta or even a bus ride. Maureen runs a tight ship and now that we are home we miss our darling Breakfast man! He makes a mean omelet! Be aware there are lots of stairs but it is worth every step!”
