"As I’m enjoying the last warm evenings of the summer on my townhouse balcony, I take a peak at the walkerville manor’s domain. Reminiscing of the great history of this district.But it’s in these walls that a page of Windsor truly embodies itself.With a true Victorian style, this lodging is quite the tribute to the prohibition era and other turn of the century memorabilia.The pipes collection, authentic paintings, classic library and antique furniture transport any guest a century back.But for me, it was the vintage apothecary that got all my attention. As a collector, I find those medical rarities simply fascinating and also a bit eerie. In a certain way, bootleggers and pharmacists shared a passion for remedies.Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
