"Although the furnishings may be outdated, and the castle is a good drive uphill on an Italian twisty-road… we were very happy with our stay here: it’s a castle room! We enjoyed it. Be prepared for bird song in the morning, and beautiful valley vistas. Bring your wine and snacks: there are no shops around! Breakfast was included and it was good. Parking is a bit downhill but on property. Add 15 minutes to your expected drive to all area attractions and you will be fine. Enjoy Giomici castle! "

STUNNING views from the patio, and the lake is a short drive down the hill. "Perfekte Lage um Umbrien zu erkunden und einen Abstecher in die Toskana zu machen. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief gut. Kleiner Makel, bei einem Aufenthalt von 14 Tagen sollte zur Hälfte der Zeit die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher gewechselt werden. In der 2.Woche waren die Nächte relativ kühl (15), da hat die Überdecke zum Laken gefehlt. Sonst alles prima."
