"An old hotel, but very updated. Our TV had different options for Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. the room was nice and big, great for 2 people. And it was a 2 minute walk from Nabari Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The only problem we noticed was in the light there were some cobwebs. We did see a spider on the wall as well. Other than that, everything was fine!"

"Nara Hoteal was part of our longer Japan family trip. The hotel has amazing history (Einstein, Japan Royal family, Vaclav Havel .. and many other dignitaries stayed in the hotel over its long history). Hotel itself by now is bit dated, but it has amazing architecture and it is very traditional with beautiful wooden panelings, great bar and garden restaurant - we liked it very much even if we think that JR (Japanese railway company, which owns the hotel currently) should invest a bit into its refit. carets are dated and airconditioning was really noisy. Location is amazing as well - just next to the Nara deer park, which is major attraction in Nara as the formal imperial city,"
"Amazing experience. The staff attend to you so well and make you feel so welcomed. We were able to leave our bags at the information center to go to the park alhands free. The provided bus to and from the train station is also a convenient touch. There is an incredible onsen on site, and the provided meal was laid out so beautifuly and had so many different new flavors and textures. Even if we didn't eat everything the experience was incredible. Highly recommend!"
"We had the 4 twin bed room. It has its own bathroom, shower room, and a large U-shaped lounge area. Overall the room was fantastic, spacious and clean. The location was great too, close to (one of the two) train station and the start of the Nara park.
