"Older unit but well maintained and in excellent condition. Appeared to be pretty new carpet. Clean, lots of light, every thing we needed. And Alison was so helpful and cooperative; very quick to respond. Bed was not comfortable for me, but that's just a matter of preference, my husband said it was fine. We had a great time!"

"We were on orcas only for one night Mother’s Day weekend. The space was beautiful and comfortable and clean with great light. Jodi was a lovely host. We especially loved listening to the birds in the morning. The place is an 18 minute drive from town and is quite secluded. There is a lovely view. Anyone staying there should just keep in mind that the kitchen is more of a kitchenette. There is a small refrigerator and microwave and toaster oven and coffee maker, but no stove so you can warm food...

"We had a perfect vacation. Beautiful, modern, equisitely appointed wfficiency appartment overlooking Deception Pass waterway. Very clean, nicely furnished, with kitchen, dishwasher and laundry. King size bed quite comfy, and waking up to fantastic view through a wall of floor to ceiling windows was incredible. Owners even thought to provide perfect, blue sky weather for almost every day of our stay. We came for Tulip Festival in mid-April and got lucky, catching tulips in full bloom just...

"This was a beautiful property for our Thanksgiving getaway. The cottage is small, but comfortable. Amazing views to the water through the Madrona trees. Truly, it was just right."

"Wonderful hostess, unit nicely furnished and as advertised fantastic views of Bellingham Bay. However, unit is located about 150 feet from and overlooking a very busy Railroad Crossing where BNSF and AmTrak cross daily and nightly. BNSF horn blasts are very uncomfortable. The listing failed to mention this unpleasant hazard that starts at 2:15AM and occurs over a dozen times into the late evening. It is unbearable. Hostess was apologetic and we hope she and her neighbors are successful in...

"Great views from the picture windows and porch of our waterfront cabin. The included bundle of firewood was a plus. The only negative was not being able to use the hot tub right upon opening time at 9:30 am which cut enjoyment of that feature down a lot. My boyfriend is a huge hot tub lover and we had to hurry to check out by 11:00am. The beds, linens and pillows were all really nice! Overall the property is just what it reports and I would likely book here again. "
