"Disappointed in the cleanliness of the following ;- doors of dishwasher, washing machine oven and fridge All needed wiping Also there was no cleaning products at all no toilet cleaner nothing to clean the sink or bathroom basin (which I personally clean every day) We were only given one hand towel I would expect one each. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. The estate agent who manages the house was very easy to deal with, eg when we wanted to stay an extra night. The area has tons to offer (albeit some places are a 40 minute drive). "We stayed here in early December for my partner's birthday. The main reasons for booking Red House Barns were the location (not too far from Aldeburgh and Southwold) and the hot tubs, and we were not disappointed on either of these fronts. Christmas is a great time to go as you have the Christmas shop on site and a small stall that sells coffees, bacon rolls, etc. which was really useful.
