Love this home!

Management was very quick to respond and resolve a few very small issues. The property was great! It was clean and big enough for 6 kids and 7 adults. The only things I found wrong with this house was it needed more towels and maybe a few more pots and pans(it had lots of dishes). We are planning to rent it next year for our family vacation! I highly recommend this home!

Fantastic Vacation Home!

We really loved this property. It was in a perfect location for Disney etc. We were late arriving due to delays but we were able to check in without issues. Pool was heated and actually was warm although the air temperature was very cool this week (unseasonally). It would be good to have a few more blankets for those times, when the weather is cool. It was a bit chilly in the night. The adult rooms were very private and there was lots of space. Multi-generational family trip and everyone was comfortable. We would love to stay here every year.

Ruined vacation

The community is quite tranquil and close to stores to purchase whatever is needed . We were excited to spend some quality time with the children, as it was spring break, however we were greeted with a cold pool. We were promised that the pool would be ready to use on arrival, if we paid in advance, so we did, but I had to call to get it turned on. The pool never heated so I called again, I got excuses and the nonchalant response was shocking! Long story short, communication was horrible and we never got a heated pool. The pool heat was only on from the night before we left and I can’t express how sad we all felt, that we paid for a house with pool and we did not get to use it! We could see all the other houses had guest enjoying their pool while we looked at a cold pool! The house doesn’t have enough pots , pans, only one mitten, or cooking utensils. The pots and pans are old and cheap! There was a bedroom missing a comforter and the walls are dirty and dusty. There are no games available except for uno and some dominoes ! The kids were bored !! The grill was overpriced and dirty! Nice house, has potential but badly kept! It’s not accommodating for guest to fully enjoy! If you plan to stay at this property with kids, don’t!! It’s not child friendly!!

Home is new, but still needs some work

The home itself is spacious and decorated well. But that's as far as it goes. While the home sleeps 14, it in no way caters to 14 people. The kitchen needs more pans to cook with in order to feed 14 mouths. We had to buy can openers, bottle openers and other basic kitchen utensils in order to get through the week. Items which have always been available in many of the homes we've occupied before. As with most summer vacations - you'll likely want to grill some food outside. This is an added expense - there is a grill, however there is additional cost for the gas tank. As other reviews have mentioned, there are not enough towels. Each person is allocated 1 towel which is has to be used for showering and the pool. This required us to do laundry everyday after returning from the pool in order to have clean towels to shower with. The fridge water filter had not been changed so family members were reluctant to drink from it, so we had to buy drinking water. On our last night - the AC began making noise and when I checked the filter - it looked like it hadn't been changed in months. We also paid to have the pool and hot tub heated. However as previous reviews have mentioned, we had issues with the pool everyday. It never heated and when the pool tech arrived he said the filter and skimmer were not working. This left the water murky with a film of debris and bugs floating on the surface. I'm still going back and forth with Shine Villas to return the pool heating fee. The property manager needs to invest in pest control - there are ants everywhere. When walking barefoot on the carpeted areas - be mindful not to step too close to the walls - the carpet tacks are very painful to step on. The bathrooms do not have GFCI plugs installed (required by code) so none of the bathroom plugs seemed to work. In addition some some of the hallway/bedroom outlets do not work. Lastly - The resort pool is not a short 2 minute ride .

Amazing Disney Vacation!

We had a wonderful time. The house was amazing and perfect! The young ones enjoyed the pool and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Fab property in a good location!

We had assumed the water park that was advertised would be near the villa. Unfortunately it would mean going in the car as it was not within walking distance. However, the pool was a hit with small children!

Great House/Convenient Location

Great house, excellent location to Disney Parks, looks like that part of Storey Lake is getting it's own community pool with a lazy river.
