Amazing

The property and amenities are beautiful, house was clean and had everything we needed. This was located perfectly to stores, highways to all parks and restaurants. Pool was great. We stayed with our family and a friends family and we had more then enough room. Only a small issue getting into the home but was able to get the code quick enough.

DO NOT RENT THIS HOME – DISGUSTING & COCKROACH INFESTED

I have stayed in Solara Resort before and had great experiences, so when planning this trip, I confidently recommended this location. I deeply regret that decision. This house was absolutely filthy when we arrived.First, the home was NOT CLEANED before our arrival. Trash was left outside, leaking onto the walkway. The floors were dirty, the counters had not been wiped down, and the carpets were stained. We found shrimp tails left out and stains on the couch and pillows. Worst of all, the bed pillows were disgusting—some had water stains, others looked like BLOOD STAINS, and one even had what looked like Cheeto dust. The walls were also dirty, and there was hair left on the shower walls, which was beyond disgusting. We immediately took photos and had to go buy cleaning supplies. Instead of relaxing, we were forced to clean the house ourselves and wash all of our sheets until 3 AM just to feel remotely comfortable sleeping.I contacted the host that night, providing photos of everything. They offered to send a cleaning crew the next day—but by then, we had already done the cleaning ourselves. We also had a full day planned and did not feel comfortable leaving strangers in the house with our personal belongings. At that point, we asked for a 30% reimbursement because we were paying to stay in filth and had to clean it ourselves. The host said they would “look into it”.
