Clean room breakfast was good the same everyday eggs sausage potatoes and you can make fresh waffles. The shower rod was a little rusted but overall felt safe and clean The pool was closed

We were very excited to stay here given the price and location but sadly what you pay for is what you get. We arrived around 10pm and were surprised to see that the location didn’t appear to be the safest. Upon arrival, I walked inside and the front desk employee allowed me to see the room before check in, it was disgusting. I apologized but told her we cannot stay there and inquired about a refund or partial refund, she talked like it would not be a problem. We left and found a much better hotel, I was waiting to hear their decision on any type of refund. They did decline the refund which is ok, I understand it was beyond the timeframe where you are typically able to cancel. They said I needed photos to prove what I was saying to be true, though I just talked to the front desk employee about it a few moments prior and she seemed to understand where I was coming from. I was not rude or nasty, I was genuinely uncomfortable staying in a place like that. Do yourself a favor, do not book this hotel. There are plenty others nearby that I’ll be a better option for you and your family’s I would give this place a 0/10 if I could.

Clean room. Very nice cleaning staff. Breakfast was lacking and almost out of everything before 730am...including cream for coffee and OJ. Front desk clerk extremely rude before check in and would not even answer questions. Check in was slow but the woman who checked me in was a very nice young woman (different from original rude lady) and it made the delay more pleasant

Highlight of our stay here was the breakfast. The sausage, eggs, hashbrowns were consistently good, so we looked forward to stuffing our faces every morning. Location is very good, seems central to most of the important tourist spots, and the room was clean when we arrived. Minus points for the pool being closed, poor soundproofing and the hotel being located close to a helipad that operates all hours (though this last thing bothered us less than anticipated). If we were to visit Orlando again, particularly Disney or Universal, I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again.

The picture shown for the lobby are not real. They show a clean and spacious place when they even have a table for breakfast, because the breakfast area is so small that they have tables and chairs also on the walkway outside. The pool shows with chairs and it is on one side of the parking and it does not have even a bench to seat or put a towel. Also for breakfast, go early because latter you may find almost nothing. Pictures don’t really show what the hotel is.

We stayed at the Howard Johnson for 3 days and, for the most part, it was a great stay. The essentials were excellent: the room was clean, the beds were comfortable with an ample amount of pillows, parking was easy, and the front desk staff was incredibly pleasant. They also offer a hot breakfast that was more than sufficient to get us all going for the day. ​However, there are a few important things to know before booking: ​Amenities: The pool was unavailable because they don’t have an adjacent bathroom (though they do offer passes to a nearby hotel's pool). The ice machine was also broken during our stay, and the TV channels are very limited since they use an antenna instead of traditional cable. ​The Shower: The shower has an extremely low flow—if you have long hair, it might take a very long time to rinse it out. ​The Atmosphere: The biggest drawback, especially if you have children, is that the property frequently smelled of marijuana, even in the non-smoking rooms. ​Overall, for the price, it’s a good stay with a nice breakfast and a comfortable bed. If you're looking for a budget-friendly spot to sleep and eat before heading out, it gets the job done.

For a very low cost motel room, within close proximity to WDW - this property is good enough. But like just a couple minor little things could improve the stay tremendously. Like...lighting. The room was so dark, with 1 tiny desk lamp that barely sufficed as a night light. I honestly just had to open the blinds and not care who could see in the room, just so I could get some light to see what I was doing. Just having an outlet near the bed or nightstand would have also been hugely helpful. 2nd/3rd floor rooms are walk up access only, no elevators I was aware of. If you're just looking to crash for a couple nights while you hit the parks, it's fine. If you need anything more than that, pay a little extra and upgrade to a location with another star.

First of all, this was a motel and not a hotel. If you’re looking for the typical hotel, this is not it. The pros were the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and AC was working good, also the breakfast was fairly good, plus the staff was nice and helpful. The cons: motel style (we never go to motels, but if you like them you’re fine); the room looked very cheaply built and had low budget/quality furniture; floor lamp would not turn on with wall switch but only turn off; the breakfast area was very small and uncomfortable which made it very crowded; the TV had very bad signal or just not working properly and the image looked terrible; the shower head had very low pressure. The location was okay, but there was a lot of traffic to go to Orlando (it was Memorial Day weekend, maybe that’s why). I personally wouldn’t stay in this motel again and wouldn’t recommend it. I would have paid a more for a better real hotel if I could do it again. But if you like motels then it would be a good choice for you. Hopefully this helps. Enjoy!

The room was clean. Certain things were updated like the bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. Two things I think they can improve on are: First, we had space under our outside door and around it instead of the door fitting snuggly into the frame - light came through and I'm sure sound could and it was big enough for small critters to go through. Second, the breakfast weas out of items and those items were never restocked even though we came part way through the breakfast time. Finally, people should be aware that there are helicopters right beside the hotel taking off - we didn't hear them while sleeping but they were flying in the evening. The price point was great and so I should have expected the quality of the hotel to be what it was but was taken back by it since it's a Howard Johnson property.
