Reunion

Unfortunately we were not able to stay at this house. When we booked it in January 2025 we were told the amenities would be open and we would have full use. One week before our check in April 2025 we messaged property manager only to find out amenities were not available yet. They worked with us to get a full refund since the property was not ready. We were disappointed not to be able to stay here but understood that construction is sometimes out of our control and will definitely look to rebook this house in the future.

Unfortunately the home had some issues one of the windows wouldn’t full close and the most important issue was that the home did not cool properly. I called as soon as I arrived to the home around 5:30 and someone came after 10. He was unable to communicate well but told me there shouldn’t be anymore issues with the air conditioner. The next day we had the same issue and someone else came and fixed advised there shouldn’t be anymore issues. The stay was almost over when the air finally started cooling properly.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and had all the amenities listed, with the exception of a gym. The kids particularly loved the themed rooms and the game room. We found it too cold to use the pool much, and we weren't aware that pool heating required significant prior notice to activate. While we understand Florida weather can be unpredictable and usually isn't this cold, it would have been nice to have the option to use it. The pictures and description were largely accurate, though it was clear that everything in the house was well-used. We also encountered a minor cleanliness issue upon arrival and spent some time preparing the house for our family. On the positive side, all appliances and the HVAC system worked well. We did find ourselves short on pool towels, and with exactly 24 people, there were no extra regular towels available for personal use, such as for hair drying. Finally, we noticed that the welcome package documentation and video could benefit from an update to reflect current procedures. We appreciate that Topvillas' communication was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay.
