The Drummers Dream was a beautiful traditional guesthouse for our first 2 nights in Japan. Our host Koji was quirky and fun. He took us to a local coffee house for breakfast and was happy to share knowledge of the local area to ensure we got the most out of our stay. The guesthouse is located in Sakai, just south of Osaka, in an old part of the city with beautiful architecture nearby. We loved wandering the surrounding streets and soaking up all the Japanese culture. It is easily accessible by train from the airport and a short train ride into downtown Osaka from the guesthouse. We had bikes and it took us a 40min biking through mostly back streets to reach the city centre. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Osaka. Many thanks Koji! :)

일본스러운 깔끔한 가정집 분위기
오사카를 여행하는 방문객 중, 늦은 저녁 비행기라면 경유지로서 이 곳을 추천합니다. 지하철역에서도 가깝고 주인장이 정말 친절하시고 꼼꼼하게 신경써주신 티가 많이 납니다.

일본고유의 느낌이나는 호텔을 찾으신다면 추천
일본고유의 느낌이 물씬풍기는 게스트 하우스입니다'ㅅ' 가시는 가장빠른길은 시치도 역에서 내리시면 편의점 로손이 보이실건데 로손을 등지고 큰사거리가 나올때까지 쭈욱- 가시는거에요. 사거리를 건너서 한블록? 두블록? 정도를 가시면 있습니다. 간판이 크게 되어있지 않아서 저녁늦게 가시면 헤매실수도 있어요...주의하셔서 가시면 됩니당'ㅅ' 시치도역이 가깝기 때문에 간사이공항과 가깝습니다'ㅅ' 간사이 공항가는길에 있는 정차역이라서 그렇게 이용하실분들이 이용하셔도 좋습니다. 캐리어가 무거우신분은 비추. 여자숙소방까지는 계단을 올라가야 하는데 굉장히 일본스러운 가파른 계단..위험해요... 욕실은 공용으로 하나있는데 아침에는 순서를 지켜야 해서 조금 번잡스러운 시간대에는 사용못하실지도. 와이파이가 다 터진다고 되어있는데...어....글쎄요..방에서는 와이파이가 되게 미약해서 못쓰겠..< 드라이기는 안챙기셔도 됩니다. 드라이기가 구비되어 있더라구요, 설명도 영어로 가능하시고 일본어도 하셔서 둘중편하신쪽으로. 한국어는 전혀 못하시니 주의 요망! 스탭친절하시고 생각보다 침대도 깔끔했구요, 좋았습니다. 아차, 수건은 한장당 100엔 주고 사용했어요! 주의하세요'ㅅ'!

Cozy place to stay!
The location is about 10 minutes from the railway station, 15 minutes from Namba. The staff(maybe the owner..HAHA..) is very nice and can communicate in English. Although the palce was small, you can have more interaction with other guests It was a cozy place to stay.

雰囲気のある宿
写真とおりの素敵な宿。造りが古い（そこが良い）が設備はきれいにしてある。スタッフのオーラも手伝って居心地のよい不思議な雰囲気が漂っている。また利用したい。

Osusume hostel.
PROS : Helpful staff, quite neighborhood, not that far from the city center by the train, mega sized ION MALL will be opening in march 2016 (5min walking distance) CONS : only 1 bathroom and toilet each, stiff stairs to the dorms, cheao noisy IKEA beds, room smells bad Overall, it was a good stay. If you are looking for the small hostel that you can socialize each other, this it the place for you.

진짜좋았어요! 친구처럼 대해주는 게스트하우스 주인들도 그렇고 2층침대에 있는 침구류가 너무 푹신해서 좋았어요! 매일 청소하는 청결함도 그렇고 주변에 편의점도 있어서 좋았습니다! 지역이 시가지랑 좀 떨어져있지만 지하철역에 내리면 쭉 일자로 계속 가면 바로 나와서 어렵지않게 찾을 수 있었습니디!

추천합니다
저는 도미토리를 이용했었는데 새로 리모델링을 했는지 객실과 침대 이불이 굉장히 깔끔하고 좋았습니다. 1층에는 다다미에서 쉴 수 있는 공간이 있고 화장실과 욕실도 깔끔했습니다. 하지만 객실 침대마다 커튼이 없는 게 좀 아쉬웠습니다. 같은 방에 회사원 아저씨들이 단체로 와서 밤마다 시끄럽게 하고 다른 투숙객을 전혀 배려하지 않아 매우 짜증이 났지만 커튼이 없어서 소음을 그대로 다 들었습니다. 물론 조용하고 개념없지 않은 투숙객이 없으면 상관없을 듯 합니다. 숙소 사장님과 직원들은 굉장히 친절했습니다. 친구처럼 같이 이야기도 나누고 굉장히 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 사장님은 심지어 컵라면을 저대신 만들어주셔서 제가 미안할 정도로 정말 친절하고 착하신 분이었습니다. 주변에 시치도 역이 있어서 교통이 편리하고 역주변에 음식점과 편의점이 있습니다. 하지만 동네가 좀 시골동네라 주변에 볼 것이라든지 젊은 사람들이 많이 모이는 번화가 같은 곳은 없다는 건 아셔야겠습니다. 저는 이 숙소에 묵으면서 굉장히 좋은 시간을 보냈고 다음에 오사카 여행을 또온다면 꼭 이곳에 묵을 생각입니다. 아 또 한국인이 쓴 좋은 이용후기가 많아서 그런지 투숙객이 거의 한국분들이었습니다. 저도 이용후기를 보고 간거구요.

추천합니다
게스트하우스 특성상 대부분 공용시설이고 시설 이용이 불편한게 사실입니다. 침대 위생상태도 아쉬운 부분이 많으며 단체 투숙이다 보니 소음에 잠자리가 불편할수도 있습니다. 하지만 매력적인 부분은 많은 사람들과 어울릴수있는 즐거운 분위기 입니다. 일본인 스탭도 모두 친절하시고 좋습니다. 다다미에서 맥주 한잔 하며 여행 정보도 교환하고 많은 인연도 만들수있어 좋습니다. 가격적인 이점도 크구요. 교통도 나쁘진 않습니다. 오사카 주유패스 2일권은 이용불가 지역이라 따로 티켓팅을 하셔야 핮니다. (1일권은 이용가능)
