The public baths here are excellent. They’re free for guests and include the regular baths and hot stone saunas. Also all of the skin and hair products included are absolutely lovely and the rooms come with the standard jammies, razors,tooth brushes, combs, slippers and skin scrubbing towels. Particularly amazing were the very local(Japanese language only, but so welcoming!) izakaya and sushi spots literally one minute from the hotel. Also the covered markets are RIGHT THERE. Amazing.

Wonderful stay as expected on my second visit to the Villa Fontaine Grand Osaka-Umeda hotel! Take the airport limousine bus to Hotel New Hankyu and walk through the Osaka Metro station underground following signs to the purple Tanimachi subway line, exit T-20 Higashi Umeda St. take the elevators to street level and make an immediate right through the alleyway past the Lawson’s (similar to 7-Eleven) and the hotel is straight ahead. Front desk reception is on the 4th floor. Laundry and ice machines are on the 5th & 7th floor.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It's a great location to multiple train stations. We were able to get to Himeji Castle and Kobe easily using the train system. The spa is also set up nicely. Staff here is super polite and helpful. Room is clean and well equipped. Our only feedback is that we wish we have a refrigerator in the room, but it's not that important. Thank you.

Very modern, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The room was very spacious and we had the superior double. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, specifically the udon noodle soup, grilled fish bar and little basque cheesecake. The Villa Fontaine Grand Osaka Umeda is excellently located, with the Midosuji line just a few minutes walk away, but it took us a little while to get our bearings around Osaka and easily find that particular route from hotel to station and back. We would highly recommend.
