"This was perfect for us. It was walking distance to the base. The staff were very helpful and patient with us. The beds were very comfortable. The room was bigger than the pictures. We will definitely stay again if we ever return to Japan."

Sun Hotel Otake

"We needed to stay in the Iwakuni area to visit family. The Sun Hotel in Otake gave us a great location; easy walk to the train station for getting to Iwakuni, Miyajima Island and Hiroshima. It was also an easy walk to restaurants in Otake, and a short cab ride to Simose Art Museum. The property was well maintained, clean, and we enjoyed the Japanese breakfast buffet. The best part of the stay was the incredibly helpful, friendly, and thoughtful staff. I cannot express how wonderful they were and how welcome we felt. We will stay there again on our next visit."
