Thanksgiving in Pac City

Our stay was good and the house made for a good location with plenty of room for 7. Multi story layout with the main living space on the 3rd floor. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was large enough for the whole fam to gather around and talk and drink while cooking and eating. We enjoyed our stay.

I wish we were able to stay longer. The house was perfect. Kids loved the Crow’s nest.

Pacific City has a lovely beach: wide, and long. The Dune is challenging to climb and we even saw horses go by. We all had a marvelous time! The house was perfect.

TERRIFIC PLACE TO ENJOY THE OREGON COAST

WE HAD A LARGE FAMILY GATHERING AND THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT FOR US AS IT ALLOWED US TO GATHER AS A GROUP YET WAS SPACIOUS ENOUGH FOR ONE TO HAVE MOMENTS OF PRIVACY. THE PROPERTY MANAGER WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS.

Great…and not so great!

A ‘Combo’ review. The Good-gorgeous neighborhood & house (lots of stairs tho!) Close to the beach and trails. Very comfy beds. It’s light and airy and very comfortable for a large group! Lovely views and lots of great decks. Not So Good-The electric stove top MUST be replaced! Only 2 of the burners really worked, and we had to jerry rig the biggest one and it only got warm. The dishwasher is janky. Unless you slam it closed, it falls open and feels like it’s going to pull out of the wall. The trays are worn out. There is no smoke detector in the kitchen! We burned some cookies and it got very smoky and nothing happened. You need more coffee mugs!! If you are sleeping in the master bedroom on the middle level and people are upstairs you’d better get some ear plugs. Property Management Snafus A Plenty- -I had called twice before our check in to see if there was a grill (as it isn’t listed but that seems odd.) Both times I was told there was no grill so we shopped accordingly. There is in fact a very nice grill. - Literally at 3:58 (check-in is at 4) I received a call (NO APOLOGY) telling me we couldn’t check in until 6:00. We were 10 people with a lot of stuff and fresh groceries. I was offered a small pittance for my troubles which I’m still waiting to see. -We could not use the garage although it was listed as available. Apparently there is a clubhouse but management couldn’t tell us where it was! We liked this house but those issues need to be addressed.

Family Fun

Two couples and eight children enjoyed the property. Fun was had by all. The property needs some minor repairs. The sleeping spaces were perfect four our many children ranging from 4 to 12 years old.
