"Funky little place, but clean and spacious. Nice big tv, and a WONDERFUL King sized bed. We were exhausted on arrival, slept like babies for 11 hours. As cheap as you're going to find around here, and each room is a separate little cottage, so it was Very Quiet."

"Chuck and Diane are great hosts: there when you need them for help or trip ideas, and totally unobtrusive when you don't. Enjoyed meeting them.The location is fabulous for easily getting on Hwy 1, yet far enough away for peace and quiet. "Very clean, close to Monterey. Safeway is less than 10 min away. Bit of a winding road to get there but nothing scary. People have negative thoughts about the bathroom, but it’s seriously not as big of a deal that people made it out to be. If you’re in the bedroom and someone’s in the bathroom, you have to wait to get to the kitchen, living room. Not a concern. We absolutely loved it and the host, Jae was amazing and quick to communicate with. Perfect for 2 people"

"We had family visiting and a special birthday to celebrate. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The home had a wonderful historical background, the beach that lay beyond the yard was enchanting and the house itself was amazingly well supplied.That we could bring our dog was just the icing on the cake. We hope to return!"

"The Sea Otter cottage offers a peaceful, secluded spot where you are surrounded by nature. Beautiful sunsets are breathtaking and observed from the cottage, the patio or the beach. Steps away is access to costal trails yet it is conveniently located to attractions, dining and shopping.
