Very clean, modern with a lovely breakfast on a terracotta terrace with beautiful view on the city. Right in the heart of historic Palermo. Very secure entrance. Friendly and helpful staff.

Vito is a great host! From mapping our activities, booking reservations at great restaurants, helping with our luggage ( note: no elevator), everything was made easier. Location was excellent! Right at the center of all the tourist landmarks and activities. Everything was within walking distance. Property was clean and updated. Rooftop breakfast was outstanding. Thank you for making our Palermo experience a huge success.

Wonderful and charming little hotel RIGHT in the center of Palermo. Just a stone’s throw from La Martorana, San Cataldo, Quattro Canti, etc. The rooftop terrace where you have breakfast is lovely and sunny, with a splendid view. Although they didn’t have boiled eggs, the breakfast was plentiful and good. We booked a room on a lower floor that looked out into a light shaft. Consequently, it was rather dark and chilly. Ideal in the summer, but in spring a bit chilly. Ask for a room on the upper floors if possible. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The gentleman at the front desk provided us with lots of tips and recommendations (the pasticerria in the monastery!!) The breakfast staff were friendly and engaging, the cleaning staff very thorough. Thank you!

The place could not be located in a more convenient spot! You can walk anywhere in 30’. Staff is excellent, clearly very proud of their job, knowledgeable and super helpful. Rooms are basic, but bed is comfortable, bathroom very functional. The terrace is magnificent and we had a great view from our room as well. There is no elevator: so keep that in mind. The building is old and there are obvious signs of the humidity staining ceiling etc. but the heating/ac system is great to reduce humidity in room. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Awesome job everyone! Very impressed by you passion

Terrific place all around. Nice people, centrally located (in an old city, I could see how parking could be a challenge… but that’s part of the experience). Breakfast views are amazing. Our second stay, and I’d go back for a third one.

Highly recommend the property. We had a nice and large modern room with a/c and heat. Kettle and tea. 10 minutes to train station Centrale, where you can also take the airport shuttle and buses to everywhere. Breakfast on rooftop with spectacular views. Everything touristic easily walkable, restaurants galore. The only issue for some people would be that you have to walk up to the third floor, no elevator in the old palazzo. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were not disappointed with any of their recommendations. We would certainly go back, if our paths lead us to Palermo again.

Fantastic place, location and value.
The place was in a perfect location. The host(s) were kind and very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding. Overall the place was much better than we expected. We would stay here again and recommend it.

The owners & staff were fabulous going the extra mile each & everyday. Property located close to many historical & cathedrals surrounding property. Breakfast on Terrance was relaxing & just enough fuel to start your day. We would definitely stay here again, even with the daily stair climb. Emiliano & Barbara were gracious host always helpful cheerful interactions.

The hotel is centrally located and accesible from the bus and train station . The breakfast is great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. One thing is that if you book the limone room and you are any taller that 5'11 you may have an issue in the shower as it is quite small. But will definitely recommend and may stay again for our next visit to Palermo.

Just what we were looking for. Good traditional accommodation with a fabulous terrace. Lovely central location with many of the historical sites within easy walking distance. Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Would recommend if you are looking for something more traditional.

Excellent stay
A lovely hotel, very very clean and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room had everything you needed, nice little touches. The view from the terrace was amazing and the breakfast was delicious, lots of variety, savoury and sweet. Range of tea, coffee and juice. Staff very polite and very friendly. I would've hesitate in staying here. Fantastic location, everything within walking distance. 10 minute walk to the train & coach station.

Lovely stay for 6 nights. Would recommend highly - exellent breakfast, really helpful courteous hosts, nice comfortable room and fabulous location in the heart of the historic centre. It had a lovely authentic feel (hence the steps) .Personally we loved the experience of opening the big front door and entering into a beautiful expansive property. The view on the Terrace is stunning Thank you for making our stay so memorable x

We loved this B&B/Hotel. It is in the heart of the city. It is situated in a side street behind a huge door which opens to reveal steps leading to the B&B. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Vito on the reception desk gave us recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Breakfast is a very varied feast with a wide selection of foods which you can eat outside on the tables in the sunshine. Bliss. The waitress is very friendly and efficient . Our room looked like it had recently been renovated with aircon, comfortable bed, big shower etc. We would definitely recommend staying here- you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect in every way
We were there April 17, 18, and 19 of 2023. The husband and wife team who run the place are the epitome of Italian hospitality. We had many interesting conversations with Mr. Barra (I think I have the name correct); both he and Mrs. Barra went out of their way to help us with info about taxis, restaurants, train schedules, etc. The rooms were beautiful. The housekeeping was robust! The location is absolutely superb. And the breakfast on the open patio was a veritable feast of Italian & Sicilian delicacies. (They even had large cups of coffee you could pour for yourself, more reminiscent of Amsterdam or Germany than Italy... like an American bottomless cup). As you can tell, we really liked La Terrazza Sul Centro... and we plan to visit there again someday. Do it!

Just perfect!
For a central stay in Palermo then there is no where better in my opinion. The room was clean, super comfy bed with extra pillow and the icing on the cake was the fantastic view from the terrace where breakfast in served. Good selection of breakfast items catering for all dietary needs. Barbara gave us info along with a map of where to visit etc and could not have been any more helpful. We were also allowed to leave our bags for a few hours after checking out before heading to the airport from the train station which is only a 10 minute walk. Staying at this property really enhanced our first visit to Palermo. Just one point for the less mobile, a number of steps have to be taken to the property as does access to the breakfast terrace.

A great stay in a central location in Palermo. Complimentary breakfast was excellent and Mary was so lovely and provided exactly everything you needed for breakfast. Great outlook from the terrace where breakfast is served although we stayed at tables indoors as it was February. Would definitely recommend staying here however lots of stairs to get to the apartment so only if you can manage the stairs. For most people these will be doable.

The room was great. The staff were helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was nice. This property was located on the top of many flights of stairs. There was no elevator. This was ok for us, but if you have difficulty with many flights of stairs, this may not be the property for you. This property was located in the heart of Palermo, easy walking distance from museums, and restaurants, which made it a great place to stay.

Lovely hotel - a lot of stairs up to the 3rd floor, but well worth it. Lovely roof terrace, quiet, great location and super friendly staff. I was gutted we couldn't get a 2nd night there as the place we had to move to was nowhere near as good. Would easily recommend

Worth a stay!
The service and friendliness was above expectations. So great! Our luggage was even carried up and down the stairs, suggested walking tour of the area with a map, and taxi called. The breakfast and service in the rooftop patio was beautiful. Great location!

The property was conveniently located in the town center lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The room was very clean beds comfortable and we were served a wonderful breakfast and coffee up on the rooftop which offer some great views. The best part of our stay would have to be the manager/property owner. They were very helpful and always answered any of our questions in a timely manner. We will definitely book with them again on our next trip.

Barbara and her husband are excellent hosts. They let us store our luggage on the checked out day as we explored the city in our last day. We loved their roof top breakfast area. Beautiful view and very good breakfast. The room we stayed is very clean and new. B&B is well located for tourists who want to stay in the heart of Palermo. You can walk everywhere. Highly recommend!

Lovely hosts great stay
Barbara, Emiliano, and Dario couldn’t have made our stay more enjoyable. So helpful with all our questions and I don’t think you can get a better view in Palermo than from their terrace. Great location for walking throughout the city.

Barbara was so helpful and friendly! The room was lovely, the terrace (show piece) did not disappoint. Tons of cakes on offer for breakfast. Location probably unbeatable. Be prepared for a lot of steps up to the B&B - particularly if you have heavy luggage. A lovely stay.

Great location and amazing roof terrace!
Our host was very welcoming and friendly, and gave a lot of advice on what to see and where to eat. The location of the place is perfect for Palermo. They upgraded our room for free too as they had free space which was a nice touch. The terrace is beautiful, we went to sit there in the evening to have some drinks and the views are stunning. Would definitely stay again.

This property is an airbnb and not a hotel which may be the impression when booking on expedia We needed to do a self check in and so were required to carry heavy luggage up 72 steps which is not acceptable If you have luggage this may not be the best option The staff is available if you make arrangements in advance but if you have been traveling for days and cannot check in by 4pm you are on your own as was the case with us. Unfortunately when we mentioned our displeasure to management they blamed us, their customer, for any inconvenience. This is not acceptable

Dear madame, I remember very well of you and I would like to write our version because it is not nice to write untrue things!!! First, you chose to do self-service check-in and wrote that you wanted to do it twice!!! I write to every guest ( you too ) that we are located on the 3th floor and without lift, dear madame if you do not read it's not our fault!!! We never said we are an hotel because we are a room&breakfast if you do not read or want to understand something different it's not our fault!!! Our chek-in self service starts after 18:00 and not 16:00. We always write we are not an hotel with reception and we need an appointment for organize if you choose other arrangement it was your choise!!! When you arrived despite your hostile behavior we were very kind and the owner also helped you with your luggage and check-out machine. Dear madame...think better before to write " this is not acceptable" because maybe this is the opposite!!!! Barbara The owner of the property,,,and not " ANONYMOUS"

Perfect location in palermo
Located in the center of the city. Easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. There is a 3 floor walkup but the owners will help carry your suitcases. There is a lovely view from the breakfast area. The breakfast was more then adequate. The owners are helpful but not present all the time.
