Great location and awesome accommodation

Perfect place to stay if you are out and about or just want to put your feet up and stay in the apartment and enjoy the roof top views. Would recommend.

Wonderful location

The apartment was exactly what one needs to explore the historic centre of Palermo. The rooftop deck (with basket to transport goodies) was perfect for breakfast or evening drinks.

We enjoyed our stay very Much. The little extra comforts provided were greatly appreciated. The location was very central and it was easy to walk everywhere. Having the capo market at our doorstep was an advantage as well

Great location to explore Palermo

We enjoyed our apartment: it's a perfect location to explore Palermo, in particular the historical center of the city. The apartment was clean, spacious and the terrace up on the roof was great in the early morning or evening for some relaxation after walking all day around Palermo. Daniela is a great host and she made sure we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. We recommend!

Perfect apartment in Palermo

We had a wonderful stay in this clean and well appointed apartment. The host Daniela was wonderful and even arranged a computer monitor for me to use for work. The AC worked great, it was 34° outside but completely comfortable inside. Location is great for walking all around the city, there is a largish supermarket 100m away, and great restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Very pleasant stay in Palermo

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful apartment in the heart of the old city. This place is conveniently located above the colourful historic market, very close to Teatro Massimo, and a walking distance to the Cathedral and many other places we visited on our 4 day trip. Excellent communication with the Daniela and her husband. They greeted us with local sweets, cannoli and a 7 layer cake. The apartment was well stocked and spotless clean. We highly recommend it.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in Palermo. Die Wohnung liegt perfekt um die Stadt und das Leben dort zu genießen. Der Mercato del Capo beginnt direkt hinter dem Haus und ist wirklich sehr schön. Man kann alles zu Fuß machen und braucht kein Auto, weil alles in der Altstadt innerhalb von max. 30 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Die wunderschöne Dachterasse haben wir ausgiebig genutzt und Daniela ist wirklich sehr nett und war auch immer für uns erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Franco & Heike

Best location, best host

I could not be happier. This location is right at the beginning of the market YET extremely quiet and comfortable. It does not have a microwave but everything else you need is there. There is a little grocery about 2 blocks away to buy cereal and milk if need be and a really nice restaurant a few feet from the front door. The apartment has a lovely roof top terrace for relaxation and a little balcony with flowers growing, so pretty. The washing machine worked perfectly. The bathroom is very adequate with a bidet and small shower. Larger people may struggle a bit with the small shower but as a normal sized person it was fine. There is an elevator so getting up to the apartment is easy for all.The host made certain that all my questions were answered and accommodated my requests appropriately. She is very friendly and communication went seamlessly. I would definitely stay there again and greatly appreciated her efforts.

Daniela a un très bel appartement, très confortable en bordure du coeur de Palerme. La terrasse domine le marché au poisson. Toutes les visites se font à pied. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille. Merci à Daniela pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Esperienza Indimenticabile

Volevamo restare a Palermo per un mese. Sapevamo dunque di voler trascorrere molto tempo anche in casa. Questo ha ristretto di molto il campo nella vasta offerta di case vacanza e B&B presenti in città, molti dei quali arredati in modo approssimativo, poco luminosi o privi di ascensore. La casa di Daniela e Marcello aveva già superato questa selezione sulla carta. Un palazzetto molto ben ristrutturato di recente, la posizione strategica sulla storica Porta Carini, accesso al vivace mercato del Capo, un ultimo piano servito da un comodissimo ascensore, una terrazza dalla quale si vedono i Monti che circondano Palermo, le cupole della Cattedrale e quella del Teatro Massimo, la vicinanza con i luoghi più interessanti dalla centralissima via Maqueda, al Teatro Massimo e al Politeama, oltre a un comodissimo parcheggio pubblico, indispensabile per noi che viaggiamo con auto al seguito. Dopo i primi piacevoli ed esaustivi contatti telefonici, appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dai proprietari, Daniela e Marcello che ci hanno illustrato la casa e poi ci hanno anche accompagnato a fare un giro a piedi per prendere confidenza con il quartiere. La casa ha tutto ciò che serve. Gli impianti di aria condizionata e riscaldamento sono nuovissimi. Ma il punto di forza che rende speciale questa casa confortevole, ben ristrutturata e anche silenziosa nonostante la vitalità del quartiere che la caratterizza, è la terrazza. Salendo attraverso una scala a chiocciola la casa si apre su Palermo. Per noi è stato il posto più frequentato. Le sessioni di Yoga, Tai Chi, Qui Gong e Meditazione al mattino mentre il mercato comincia a popolarsi di voci e i profumi irresistibili delle specialità che si cominciano a preparare resteranno per sempre nella nostra memoria. Abbiamo sempre mangiato in terrazza o semplicemente consumato i nostri aperitivi godendo dei cieli cangianti e dei paesaggi nei d’intorni. E che dire di Daniela e Marcello, della loro cura e attenzione ai loro ospiti e della capacità di farci sentire a casa nostra più che a casa loro? Insomma, é stata un’esperienza a 5 stelle, senza difetti e sbavature. In una parola … indimenticabile. Speriamo di poter tornare prestissimo.

Comfortable home in a perfect location

Daniela is a super host, easy to communicate with and always ready to help. The apartment is situated directly next to the Capo market and near a bus stop. The food and culture starts right at the doorstep. The terrace is a bonus, what a beautiful view of the city. Thanks Daniela!

Tolle Wohnung, super Lage

Die Vermieter waren außerordentlich freundlich. Die Wohnung ist perfekt gelegen für alles, was man in Palermo halt so machen sollte: Über Märkte gehen, Shopping in der Via Liberta, historische Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Kathedrale, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse ist besonders schön. Die Wohnung ist alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert.

Appartement rénové, situé dans un bel immeuble ancien, au cœur du centre historique. Confortable à la propreté irréprochable. Cerise sur le gâteau, une terrasse sur les toits avec salon de jardin et barbecue pour les chaudes soirées d'été. Marché alimentaire typique au bas de l'immeuble sites principaux à visiter, accessibles à pied. Arrêt très proche pour la navette gratuite desservant le centre historique. Plage à 20 mn en bus. Liaisons très fréquentes. Daniela qui parle l'anglais et le français est au petits soins avec ses hôtes afin de leurs assurer le meilleur des séjours. A recommander sans hésitation.
