Great house, quiet beach

We enjoyed our stay at Legasea. Although the young grandkids were eager for more people and excitement, it was a perfect spot for those of us just looking to relax.

God’s Special Beach

It was magical. I grew up on this beach but had not been back in 50 years. It was still so beautiful, so memorable. Legates was unbelievably gorgeous. Everywhere you looked there was something unique - stunning oil paintings, painted furniture, even a “sandalier.” Everything needed was there. It was a truly perfect place to spend Christmas week with friends.

What a peaceful, quiet stay! The ocean waters were calm and beautiful. Property is in great condition with extra amenities like kayaks. Great hosts who were attentive and accessible.

Beach Getaway for My Mom

Great place to stay. It was very quiet, relaxing, and clean. We really enjoyed the screened in porches, the kayaking, cycling trails, and the sun deck.The owner was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place

We had a fabulous time in a beautiful house on a gorgeous beach! We loved that the beaches were so private. The house was in great condition right on the beach with almost no waves.

Secluded and cozy

Legesea is located in a wonderful, quiet area. The beach is tons of fun to explore, especially at low tide, perfect with little kids. The house has a great layout, we had a 3 month old, a grandma and a 5 year old with us and everyone was able to find a quiet place to relax. We enjoyed our stay

Great week!

The duplex is large and beautifully decorated but very comfortable. The owners are great and very responsive. Loved the seclusion of the small town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property!

Caroline was a “super host”! She answered all of our questions and had the most complete binder of information about the property and the area I have ever seen. We loved this beautiful, spacious beach home and the quiet area. There is much to see and enjoy along “the forgotten coast”!

Family Getaway

This property is beautiful. It is everything that the host described and more. We had our grandkids ages 17, 14, and 10 with us. They spent hours paddling in kyacks provided by our host we also brought a paddle board. The water is calm which makes it perfect for these activities. We also loved fishing off the community pier at sunset. We definitely will be back.

Great place for a secluded beach stay

Lovely house with many amenities and quick responsiveness from owner. The beach was great for walking and looking at beach creatures; we saw so many hermit crabs and lots of pretty shells. We even saw a manatee from the pier. The water is very calm, so may not be the best if you want to play in the waves, but perfect for not worrying about a wave knocking a toddler over.

Perfection!

We had a wonderful stay at Legasea! The home is gorgeous! It had everything needed for a fun, relaxing and comfortable beach vacation. And you just can't beat the location. Simply wonderful! Lale was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the booking process and during our actual stay. Highly recommend this property!

Incredible visit

I can’t recommend enough a visit to Legesea. Great communication and understanding on the part of Lale, the property owner. Despite many unknowns with Covid-19, her family remained flexible and accessible. The property is fantastic, clean, and offered a quiet getaway for our family. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this would be a perfect location.

Can't wait to come back!

Had the best time with my family! The house was amazing. The beach and property was great. My two boys ages 4 and 7 had the best time fishing and playing in the water. My parents could not have been any happier. My mother said this was her "bucket list" vacation spot. Overall the best family trip we have been on. It is a hidden gem that i cant wait to get back to!

All aspects of my stay were effortless. Property is exactly as portrayed on the web. Communication with the owner was excellent! The location was extraordinarily beautiful, private and full of nature! The location is kind of remote so as the owner says, come prepared.

Amazing place to recharge!!

We had a wonderful stay and we were able to recharge as a family. We are very busy with work, gymnastics and baseball in our day to day world. We were able to take a step back and unplug from the business of our normal schedules. The owners were great and accommodating! We truly did not want to leave!

Beautiful Secluded Retreat

This property was perfect for our family. My teen has special needs that makes anything with crowds hard for him to handle. It was our first time in Florida for spring break so we were worried about how busy anything on the beach would be. We chose this house based on its proximity to the beach, location and the cleanliness reviews and we were not disappointed! I love how the house was decorated with southern coastal vibes and that it had all the extra items that were included for activities. It was a long drive for us but definitely worth it!

Awesome House

Be a little clearer on the property page that this house is in the middle of no where. Closest Grocery is at least 30 minutes away. Not a traditional beach town. Overall a super place, very quiet and peaceful.

Sun Beauty Relax

We can not think of one thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable. My husband said “best anniversary ever”. Every day a new surprise the gulf has to offer surprised us. The home is perfectly arranged. The host was wonderful. But nothing beats the views.

Great Place to Relax

This is a wonderful home in a peaceful setting. There is plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. The screened porches are wonderful. The hammock and porch swing were favorites. We had cloudy weather and no wind, so no waves really at all. This not a big beach, big waves place. My group enjoyed fishing and tried out the kayaks. Relaxing was the preferred activity!
