Beautiful holiday in Panicale

We recently spent a week in this amazing property for our summer holiday. The house is in a beautiful setting, completely private and with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Chiara is such a brilliant host. She is so helpful with organising anything and everything. She left us a lovely bottle of wine on arrival and brought us fresh pastries on another morning. She does live on site, but we never saw her apart from when we wanted something! Things that we did and would recommend - horse trekking (the stables is also on a vineyard which produce wonderful wine), electric bike trip around lake Trasimeno, beach days on Lake Trasimeno (at Castiglione del Lago), padel tennis and trips to Castiglione and Panicale. Chiara also recommended some lovely local restaurants. All in all, a great holiday and a would thoroughly recommend this house

Best Villa Ever

My husband and I and two other couples enjoyed this beautiful villa for 8 days. It was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The golden nugget for this place is its owner, Chiara. She was amazing. Prior to our arrival we had asked Chiara if she would recommend excursions so we could enjoy the local culture and not just tourist areas. She organized two wine tastings for us, local dinners, a chef to come into the villa and make a five course meal and she made us a beautiful Italian dinner one night. She even arranged for a doctor to see us on a weekend as a few of us were not feeling well. The train station is not far from the villa but to ensure we knew how to get there and how to maneuver the tickets etc. she joined us to show us the way. She accompanied us on some of the excursions as our guide which made it much easier for us. We enjoyed her company so much we invited her to join us for dinners. Chiara truly made our stay in her villa sensational. We highly recommend it for others to enjoy.

Beautiful, quiet Panicale!

We stayed one week in Podere Molinaccio in Panicale. 2 families with total 4 adults and 4 kids 5-10 years old. The apartment is big, clean and beautifully refurbished. What we enjoyed most was the location. The house is located in the middle of a field. It is close to Lake Trasimeno and to picturesque villages like Panicale, Città della Pieve, Castiglione del Lago, etc and also close to a food shop and ice cream bar. The piazza in Panicale is beautiful and the kids loved to bath in the Lake Trasimeno. The pool outside the house is also clean and great! We spent one day on an antique market, the kids went horse riding and we had some relaxing days by the pool. The owner Chiara treated us like royals and she would do anything for us. The last night she invited us to a farewell dinner with live music and local food. Thanks Chiara!
