“we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. Would come……

“The owner was just fantastic, so attentive to our needs and the secret way to locate the property, (if you know, you know, it is a genius), the first people and or persons we were introduced to were three stunning horses. (Two of our favourite royals after Kate of course, & My Wife' nickname), we loved the alpacas, the rabbits, the dogs and it was just so picturesque and beautiful. Our whole holiday was just perfect we didn't want to leave. We would love to see the owner again and love that part……

“We enjoyed an amazing weekend at The Old School House, celebrating my mum’s 80th birthday. The property is perfect for a large group, with large communal spaces where everyone can come together, but also some cosy nooks where you can enjoy a moment of quiet. The fact that it’s located above the beautiful Fowey estuary, with fantastic views and the town and beach a short stroll away is just a bonus!”

“Beautiful little place to stay. Cosy, clean and tidy, there was even a bottle of bubbly waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay there again. Communication was excellent throughout and the owners were lovely when we bumped into them as we left.”

“Very nice place to stay. Clean and good view of the beach. Music in restaurant below was a bit intrusive and went on until ten pm. Possibly will be longer in summer months. We went in October. Free parking for renters. Recommended if you don't mind music all day.”

“Lovely spot, close to the beach and several trails. There were some restaurants/food trucks within walking distance and about a 30 minute walk to the nearest grocery store. The unit is fully equipped with cooking facilities so we were able to cook all our food. The complex is very nice and residents and guests were all very friendly and respectful. I highly recommend this property! ”

“Arrived here after a 6 hour drive and found the property easily. The house was clean and felt like home. The kitchen was well equip for all of us. There was 8 of us and was perfect. The best part of it was the location and only 5 mins walk to the beach ⛱️ and a further 15 mins walk to the town. Definitely would recommend this property 👌”
