Stay was enjoyable , but feel it would not be adequate for 6 people due to only 1 bathroom and positioning of the bedroom's. When we had any concerns they were answered immediately via ‘whatsapp’ . Whilst there we did clean the pool ourselves. The route in from the North takes you over a very small bridge i drive a ford Kuga and the sensors were going all round. I advise ignoring the sat nav first turn point and take the second. Roads to the villa are very steep and narrow. We drove from Bilbao and the route was very easy with very little traffic all the way down. Steep roads out from villa so youngsters may struggle with walking.

Literie catastrophique sommier planche en bois obligé de dormir ausol, et cela ne correspond pas a l' annonce pour les couchettes Manque d entretient pour la piscine, eau verte ,aucune filtration pour la piscine , barbecue impossible de s'en servir

En dessous de nos attentes

La maison n est pas faite pour accueillir 3 couples :- au niveau sanitaire il n y a qu un seul wc et dans la salle de bains de surcroît ce qui est trop juste pour 6- au niveau couchages c est loue pour 6 personnes il serait honnete de dire 1 couple plus 2 enfants au vue des matelas petits et un peu defonce -du coup nous nous sommes rabattus sur le canape du salon mais c est un lieu de passage donc aucune intimite Et pas de lampe de chevet ni chaise pour mettre ses affaires - les lits n etaient pas faits donc on a du fouiller pour trouver des draps et des couvertures en quantite suffisante par contre nickel au niveau des serviettes - la cuisine et salle a manger sont bien equipes mais manquent de lumiere la climatisation fonctionnait mais faisait un bruit important donc elle necessite une revision - pour revenir a la salle de bains l eau chaude est aleatoire dans la douche et a un gros probleme de debit nous avons appele notre contact qui a deplace le plombier mais exepte nous dire 5 fois qu il fallait attendre il n a rien fait - il manque aussi un chauffage dans la salle de bain- les cotes positifs de cette maison sont le jardin dont nous avons bien profite lorsque le temps l a permis Bref nous sommes tres decus de cette location que nous avions selectionne pour nous faire plaisir pendant une semaine et le confort n etait pas du tout a la hauteur du prix donc je ne vous recommanderai pas Le coin salon

Country retreat

Was as expected, beautiful house all one needed supplied only down Side was the pool it needed cleaning but was cleaned when asked.Could also do with a meet and greet instead of self check in other wise very pleased.

Informations d’arriver médiocre

Faites attention, il y a deux entrées que le gps détecte, malheureusement on a pris la mauvaise entrée, car nous avons reçu les instructions d’arriver très tard. On a du partir une journée plutôt du au feu de forêt qui étaient dangereux, malheureusement aucune compensation…

We had a very relaxing week

We stayed with 6 persons.. 4 children, 16-16-18-19 Perfect pool to cool down. The house was clean I believe the place is perfect for 5 guests It was rather difficult to locate the house I loved the garden

Was een heerlijk verblijf . Het bed op zolder is niet geschikt voor twee volwassenen. Gelukkig was er nog een slaapbank de tuin is prachtig met voor ieder wat wils . Leuk huis we hadden nog wel even willen blijven .

We arrived late in pouring rain! Maria had forwarded a video of how to get to the property, unfortunately as we were coming from the North our Sat nav took us a different route which was along a v narrow bridge over a river. The property is at the end of a v steep road 1/10. We had to drive very slowly and I feel I confident drivers would find this hard. The property was exactly as we had seen online. We were given the wrong gate code and house code so I was constantly WhatsApping Maria or calling her. Unfortunately there was no hot water but whilst we were out María organised for a man to change the gas tank and all was well. As it had rained so hard the pool had got dirty but wasn’t bad enough not to swim in. It took us 20 mins to drive to Porto for the day and it was lovely to come back to the peaceful surroundings and pool. The kitchen needed a vegetable strainer and we felt we could have had a few dishwasher tablets leaving. The bed was very comfy. Maria was very friendly and did everything she could to help. I could imagine this being a wonderful place to have stayed if our weather had been better! The bathroom is downstairs which some people may find difficult in the night. It was a very cool property.

Un vrai bonheur dans cette jolie maison rustique avec tous les équipements qu'on avait besoin pour notre famille. Du confort et du calme absolu. Fonçez y les yeux fermés...!!!

A perfect haven

After driving from the UK Quinta Ribeiro was a perfect haven. A charming house, well-equipped with a great pool and garden. The family-owners were welcoming and responsive. We would have stayed longer but it was already booked- I can understand why!

Wow! So cool!

We loved staying here! The kiwi bushes and other fruit trees are plentiful. The grounds are so charming and such a romantic rustic feel about the area. And of course the pool was wonderful! Just a couple of things to note: 1) the welcome book was missing so we had to muddle through a bit but it all worked out. And I don't think the cleaners realized it was going to be a full house as there weren't towels for the attic rooms and some cobwebs. We found some small extra towels in the master bedroom closet. 2) there is a/c downstairs and in the master bedroom on the 2nd floor. The attic rooms have none though and it gets really hot up there. If you are staying in the summer just be aware. Plenty of other spaces to sleep on if you want to avoid that floor. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Place in a very nice Area

We Stayed there a week With our Kids. The House and the Pool were very nice. Its 30 Minutes to Porto, which is a beautifull City. Only thing we Missed was a washing Machine.

Une campagne pas si calme

Maison rustique dont le principal attrait est le jardin, la vue, le barbecue et la piscine. Equipement de la maison sommaire, manque cruellement d’un lave linge. Idéalement situé aux portes des autoroutes, attention l’accès à la villa difficile (très forte pente). La campagne n’est pas aussi calme que l’on pourrait si attendre. Même si nous avons eu un bon téléguidage par la propriétaire par sms et whatsapp nous regrettons de n’avoir jamais rencontré personne.
