「I cannot fault the way the apartment is 'kitted out'. There was everything you needed even down to disposable slippers. Nice to have heaters for a very cold night and morning. The shower is great with an overhead rain shower. The owners always responded immediately to any questions I sent which is good. My only tiny criticism is that there was an overwhelming smell of very pungent air fresheners but obviously, most people wouldn't find that a problem. I would definitely recommend this...

「Our stay in the hotel was comfortable and the hotel is located just adjacent to the train station. The breakfast is great. Yet the room may need some renovation as it actually getting old. During check-in, we were informed to pay for the hotel, which we already paid during the booking, but it was rectified once we spoke to the hotel staff during check-out. 」

「A true gem of a hotel in York. Easily walkable to centre. Hotel and rooms spotlessly clean. Tasty, hot breakfast with plenty choice. Comfortable rooms but a little too hot. Good parking area at rear of hotel. Staff very pleasant and could not be more helpful. Special shout out to Gemma and Stuart who were both excellent. Would definitely stay here again. 5 stars all round. 」
