"The moment I arrived at the site, even though it was dark and drizzling at 10 pm, I knew it was special. The frogs were singing and it was so beautiful. Larry brought me to the site even though it was so late. In the morning, I could not believe my eyes at the sun coming over the incredibly blue lake. "The house is in a great location to visit all the attractions in the area of the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. If you like hiking there are plenty of trails nearby. The house is pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Laurie and Chip are next door if you need any assistance. The mountain views are spectacular!"

"Grass was very high some places up to our knee. Mold on house and inside smell. Toilet didn’t work. Bathtub was filthy. We didn’t even stay the night we left. TV didn’t work. No check in communication with owner when we checked in the campground didn’t even know we was coming . Walls were dirty."

At every glance inside Jim's house you will discover pieces he has collected from all over the world. It is truly a gift he is sharing with anyone who stays.
