“This beautiful boutique hotel offers traditional Newari charm in the heart of Lalipur, just a short walk to Patan Darbar Square. The reception staff were friendly and super helpful and the room just full of character. Loved it. Breakfast is served offsite with a limited selection but does the job. “I lived in Patan, Nepal in 2006 and have returned several times to reconnect with my "Nepali Family" and the one of kind culture of the Kathmandu Valley. The Inn Patan is a treasured restoration of a traditional Newari home, and is a moments walk to Patan's Durbar Square. The property is extremely quiet, the on-site restaurant is excellent, and the staff are consistently wonderful and accommodating. My husband, friend and I throughly enjoyed our stay and will stay at The Inn Patan when we return……

“We had a good experience from checkin to departure. The staff were friendly and very helpful but didn't hover over us. Our spacious room, the restaurant and the facilities in general are well maintained, pleasantly decorated and clean. Hot water for a shower was plentiful. This hotel obviously has a history in the area and the owner/manager take pride in providing a quality experience for guests.There is another excellent restaurant right next door. All in all I rate the Clarion very highly and……

“First time in Kathmandu, picked this for it's fabulous location in a vibrant artsy neighborhood near Patan Darbur Square as a friend was staying nearby. I am so very happy I picked this place. Wonderful historic place with a wing added that is more modern but in keeping with the original architecture, the room I booked was in the new section so the ceilings are high and the windows face over the courtyard to the original part of the hotel. “This is a lovely new hotel in Kathmandu. Spotless rooms and attractively maintained exterior and interior. Nothing to complain about and only good things to say. When the power went out several times, as it is prone to do occasionally in Kathmandu, the generator kicked in immediately. Heater worked well, for the cool nights. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was great. So was the coffee. I will stay here again.”
