This was our first stop once arriving in Bali. We didn’t realize how remote the hotel was, about 10 min walk from the nearest restaurant. We have never driven motorbikes and felt more comfortable getting around through Grab drivers which is fairly inexpensive but ended up walking to most places to save money as we’re backpackers. The room was pretty good, I would say you get what you pay for. The room was clean but towels and bed sheets were questionable. The bathroom was a shower tiled room with a toilet in the centre of the room and a curtain as the door and the sink was in the bedroom area, I find this odd. The property was nice and a swimming pool which was cleaned daily. The staff were ok, not always around and not very friendly so it wasn’t the best welcoming. Everyone in the area however was very nice.
Overall it was good. Staff could be nicer as it would’ve made us feel more welcomed and comfortable, and would have preferred to know about the bathroom before booking.
It just felt pretty dirty, power was out and they’re doing construction everywhere. Only stayed one night.

Our stay at Batu Kandik Homestay was Amazing. The host (Putu) really Made our stay special and helped us with everything we needed. They don’t serve breakfast anymore, but there is a good and cheap warung just 3 minutes walking from the homestay. Worth coming back for! ☺️
Nice place. No huge windows in the room but if you’re not staying in too much, it shouldn’t be an issue. The place could use a little more TLC but overall, for the price, it wasn’t bad at all. There aren’t that many restaurants walkable to this place but taking a scooter was super easy.
the check-in process was very bad. no one was at the front for 20 minutes. they are doing construction at the hotel. the room is very scary. the toilet is in the shower. i have never seen this before. the room is less than 100 sq feet. mosquitos everywhere. terrifying hotel
Ok to get your head down but no windows in the room. Terrace area pics were from years ago. Now derelict. But that said for £20 a night you can sleep there. Water fountain on entrace was making a noise like a strangled donkey all night. Funny eally, youll need a sense of humour
I am compelled to provide an honest review. The room and location were unacceptably dirty, warranting significant concern. I was charged over $70 AUD. The space was found to be in a state of disarray, with prevalent dirt, unpleasant odors, mosquitos and a malfunctioning toilet, complemented by antiquated and unclean bedding. The overall condition was utterly appalling and unlike anything I have previously encountered. Not recommended at all.
Camera modesta ma molto pulita, bagno non proprio comodo, patio molto piccolo
Molto gentili ad aspettarci fino alla una di notte, ma poco espansivi
Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo comunque
Per una notte va più che bene
Amazing people. Very quiet area but well located to visit the surrounding beaches and within a walking distance to Uluwatu temple.
Staff is adorable! Very reliable and helpful. They treated me like part of their family.
The rooms are basic but ideal, very clean, good shower with hot water and a good AC unit.
The pool is small but it serves the purpose to cool you down when needed!
There are motorbikes for renting at the hotel and there is also a small convenience store...
I would recommend it to everyone since if I'm back to the area, I will choose the same accommodation.
Thank you Batu Kandik Homestay!
Jättetrevlig personal som var väldigt hjälpsamma. En liten butik som hade öppet nästan dygnet runt. De hade tyvärr ingen värdeförvaring på rummet, men överlag en mycket trevlig homestay.
