“This place is absolutely filthy, it doesn’t look as though it has been cleaned in over a year. We would not recommend and still waiting for a refund as we left early. Very disappointing. Hotels.com you should take this off your rentals”

“Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best.”

“The room was good size and quiet . We eat in the hotel at night the meal was ok the chips were a little well done. We had breakfast the next morning my self and my friend went for eggs Benedict it was ok but cold we both commented on the fact . My husband had the buffet breakfast and he had the eggs cooked,but when he went to the buffet it was empty and had the last sausage and the rest was dried up .The coffee was a machine that didn’t work ( the lady made the coffee for us ) the tea was……

“Lovely stay at The Gwbert Hotel. The room was ready when we arrived so were able to check in early. Room was clean & had a lovely view of the coast. Tea & Coffee in the room. A fan, iron & ironing board & hair dryer available too. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Totally recommend”

“We had the most wonderful stay. The location is just beautiful and it's so very peaceful. I stayed in the Wall Room with my dog. It was totally dog friendly with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous shower. There was a bed, towel, water bowl and treats for my dog. The restaurant/cafe was located close by and the food was lovely. Chef David has created a fabulous menu. The Sunday lunch was totally delicious. The restaurant staff were lovely. “The room was lovely and clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable. The bathroom had the best power shower of any hotel I’ve stayed in. The bar meals were really good too and there was just a nice atmosphere to the hotel and it’s in such a good location.”

“I booked on line which i wont ever do again ,the rooms are so small and badly decorated ,bathrooms need sprucing up very difficult with no shelves in bathroom ,also the stools by the kettle to high for the elderly to get up on ,i know it was a cheap price ,but honestly i would prefer travelodge ,decent chairs to sit on with plenty of teas ,coffee etc good lighting plugs by mirrors ,no tidy place to sit ,and advertising sea view had to stand on bed to see it. So for me we wouldnt stay there again……
