You are also close to Ullswater and Haweswater, which are just a short drive away. This detached family house stands in its own enclosed private grounds, with extensive views over the luscious open countryside to the fells of the Lake District. The list of things to do and places to visit in this beautiful part of the country is endless and you may find that one visit is not enough. With a local pub that is within easy walking distance, serving both good food and local beers, you are sure to feel welcome. Moor House is ideal for two families looking for a large holiday home, or for those who just like plenty of space. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Peaceful get away!

We really enjoyed staying here, lots of room, nicely updated house, all the amenities that we could need were available, and incredibly nice host! So close to the Lake District, easy to get to the hikes and lakes and cute little villages. Loved staying here and would definitely stay again when we come back.
