In all our years of travel, absolutely the best hidden gem of a hotel we’ve ever come across. The restaurant, the staff, the speakeasy, the reading lounge, the location. The perfect hotel for ALL our needs. We will be back. You can not go here just once.

The property is indeed very charming and clean. And the location to the Pensacola Bay Center is excellent! You can walk the very short distance and avoid all the traffic and parking issues completely! However, there are some issues. When we returned to the room after our show, we had No water in the shower. My husband bathed under a trickle of water. By the time he was done it had completely stopped. I contacted management and was told that it is a common occurrence. To wait a few minutes and it usually comes back. I waited an hour and nothing! I was not able to bathe except with a wash rag and cold water from the sink. Not acceptable especially considering the cost of the room! Also, be aware there is very little parking available at the property, but that is the nature of the neighborhood. We had to park 2 blocks away at a church parking lot.

We booked the weekend getaway the day before arriving. The room was very artsy and spacious for a boutique hotel. The outdoor space had games and generous seating options. The lounge area on the level was full of books and interesting collections. The bed was very comfortable. We had dessert at the restaurant. Having the restaurant was an added bonus. We hope to return this summer. The location was perfect with many restaurant in walking distance.

Virtual check in was pretty obnoxious. It's just not a welcoming experience to a property at this price point. Also, no on site breakfast or even like a coffee bar. Honestly the only employees on site are working at the restaurant, and only in the evenings. It's basically a shared air bnb. Oh and the pillows were awful.

I really wanted to love Lily Hall because there is so much about this hotel that is special. It is incredibly charming, quiet, and beautifully designed. I loved the picture frames, typewriters, lounge, large windows, comfortable bed, seating area, and especially the hard floors instead of carpet. Having Brother Fox connected to the hotel is also a huge plus, and the self service restock cabinet was a thoughtful touch. Unfortunately, several things kept this from being the experience I expected. While the bathroom was very clean, the entire room smelled strongly of bleach. Other areas did not feel as thoroughly cleaned. Some towels had marks on them, and by our second night, my bare feet were getting dirty from the floors despite not wearing shoes in the room. There was also no bottled water, and the hair dryer and steamer were fairly worn. The virtual hotel concept will not be for everyone. During a power outage, this became especially apparent. I contacted the hotel first after noticing something was wrong. Communication afterward was slow and vague. We had no lights or AC in the Pensacola heat, and there appeared to be no backup generator or staff on site. The outage was obviously outside their control, but communication and preparedness were not. My biggest concern was the outdoor area. Several cushions had visible mold, as did the cornhole bags. That was extremely off putting and needs to be addressed. I would not stay again.
