Pensacola weekend

Side yard needs picking up and outdoor shower curtain was in bad shape. When we returned Saturday afternoon there was a strong sewer gas smell in the kitchen and shower/bathroom next to kitchen. We lit a sented candle and it was better when we returned from dinner. Saw two roaches in the kitchen. Other wise everything else was great. Very nice kitchen set up and the kids loved all the TV’s in each room and the neighborhood was walkable with a Publix store nearby also a park to walk our Scottie. Would stay here again

Wonderful Stay. Beds super comfortable. Enough space for a family of 6. Simple directions to follow. The house was exactly what we needed for our family reunion.

Needs a lot of work!

The photos don’t tell the whole story! We had roaches and a rat. Contacted owner and he got an exterminator quickly. Just one problem, the house has several air vents and crawl space not properly covered so anything can get under the house. Also, the utility room is awful! It is located at the back of a dirty garage. The dryer is vented out a raised window and you can see straight out in the yard. There are two electrical outlets without covers, and the only light is a lamp sitting on top of the water heater. There is an old water heater, building debris, broken pots in the side yard. There are three bedrooms, but you can only use one closet. The others are locked. The second bedroom has a roller clothes rod and the other has an out-of-tune piano, that’s it! There was also a hole in the wall in one bedroom, and the den has a water-damaged ceiling.

East Hill Sweet Spot!

Wonderfully upgraded 1940's house in great walkable neighborhood. A few quirks to be expected in an older house. overall very, very good!

Great location

We attended our sons winging ceremony for the Navy. Great location close to down town. Could have used a little more towels but overall great.

Beautiful place for a relaxing vacay

My husband and I visit Pensacola each year and prefer a short rental vs. a hotel. This has been our best one yet! The home is beautiful and in a very nice neighbor. It was convenient to everything and cozy and comfortable for some much needed relaxation. One thing to note is there were ants in the kitchen which was not a deal breaker but the reason for 4 stars. I have them in my home sometimes so it was not alarming. Just be sure not to leave any food out on the counters for a long period of time or overnight. Per the previous reviews...if you plan to cook, bring your favorite pots or pans. There are some there but for us we were steaming seafood and forgot our large pot to make it easy. Other than that, this is a wonderful rental. You will not be disappointed!

Ant problem

Pros: Good location Decent property Cons: Major ant problem, bathrooms and kitchen. Stained furniture and bedding, should be replaced. Have pics of these issues, they were bad enough that we ended our rental early and went to the Marriott. Just needs some proper attention to be a great rental.

A comfortable stay

Ants Everywhere

There were hundreds of ants inside the house. They came out of the kitchen sink. They were all over the bathroom walls and floors. They were all over the kitchen countertops and floors. The property manager came to spray but that did nothing. There is major extermination needed. Extremely disappointed and I recommend satying away from proerties owned by this property owner

Pensacola tour

The house was as stated and from the pictures had a lot of upgrades. A few details need to be completed and maybe some upgraded furniture. The door lock was a little troublesome but with some patience was able to be overcome. We came during a cold streak and the house was only 51 degrees when we arrived. It took until morning to get the temp comfortable, however once we got it there it did maintain. Easy to drive downtown and to the beach from this location.

Really liked the house, it is missing amenities

Great location! We loved the layout of this remodeled home. Kitchen was nice and there are two separate family rooms with space to relax. Two nice, newly finished bathrooms. Amenities we wished for: enough towels and washcloths for 6, kitchen towels, side lamps for each bed side, living room lamps, bedroom closet or dresser, a place to hang sweaters/jackets, dining chairs for more than 4 at the table. Missing things in the kitchen that made us glad we were not hosting a dinner. Drove us all crazy to deal with remote control fan lights in every room. We REALLY did enjoy our time, but it felt a bit like a bachelor pad.

Relocating

Overall, the property was just as described. Because we needed the home for a week while all of our furniture was being moved into our new home, we could have used a better functioning kitchen. Beautiful stove, but nowhere for groceries. However, if on vacation, others probably wouldn’t miss the storage as much. The keypad was nice, but finicky. We loved having the space and the backyard was great for our two, small dogs. Thank you!

Time with son before moving out of country

We had a wonderful time at this property. Great location and plenty of room. We had a little trouble with PW for internet which was resolved the following day after arrival. Code for the front door did not work one day and the host came to the house to let us in very quickly. Only negative, no pizza cutter. We would have no problem staying again.

Perfect

Location was perfect, 15 minute drive to beach, 16 minute walk to dog beach, downtown close but not to close! Neighbor hood very quiet with great neighbors! Accidentally kicked dogs ball over fence , they were very nice about it!! House is so cute and very clean! Only complaint is in one of the bathrooms there is no hot water. It was fine though everyone just used the shower in the other bathroom. We arrived a day early and Josh was very quick to reply when asked if we could check in a day early!!! Loved everything about our trip, will definitely rent house again next year!! Thank you for making our vacation perfect 😍

1940’s Home with charm

The house was very clean and close to the grocery store for those last minute needs. Parking met our needs. The outdoor shower is a plus when coming in from the beach which is only located 15-20 minutes from the house. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated. We had a few minor issues. The first issue was the dryer was not working and we had beach towels that required to be washed daily. The washer and dryer are both aged and need to be replaced. No one wants to go to the laundromat on vacation. The oven also was not working. We contacted the agent and she came over to look at the dryer and had to go buy a lighter to light the oven. The beds were comfortable. Two of the bedrooms could use a dresser so that you are not living out of your suitcase. Lacking sufficient bath towels, wash clothes, and hand towels for our group of 6. Only 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel was left in each bathroom. Dish towels were not provided. Overall, the house met our needs minus the few issues.
