We really enjoyed the location and the beach/pool. The unit itself was nice but the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable and my husband had to sleep on the sofa due to this. The bunk bed room has very little airflow so if anyone is going to be sleeping in there bring a fan- my kids got very hot. Overall the complex was nice and well maintained. We will stay again at waterscape just probably in a different unit.

the entire waterscape experience is amazing! I have been several times and thorough enjoyed our family time. Pool area is well kept and the zero entry area and upper kids area make taking small children a breeze. Our unit was ready on time, clean, and had everything we needed. The only (small) note for the kitchen area would be to remove the kitchen block and add a tall shelving unit in laundry area for groceries. Not any room for dry food item. I suggest bringing extra kitchen towels as they only provide 2, as well as garbage bags (this is for all units, not just this one). The smaller king size room bed wasn't terrible, but very squeaky so if anyone turns over it is very noisy. All the pillows were flat so glad I brought my own. Other than that, the unit was decorated beautifully, very comfortable, and not lacking in kitchen utensils. I would definitely book again.

We loved everything about this condo!!! It was in a great location, clean, and stocked. Beds were comfortable. Staff checked in and made sure stay was pleasant. The phone check in process made things so much easier. A must stay when we visit again.

Lovely place but not elegant

Place was very clean and well situated but apartment and resort are not properly well Maintained. Air conditioner need two service stops and air conditioner looked moldy and decrepit, dishwasher was old and inefficient merely moving dirt around so we ended up hand washing. Elevator nearest condo was not working for the week, after a heavy rain there were puddles in the hallway and covered parking garage. Now if we hadn’t paid Ritz Carlton prices I would accept this but at the high fee of Watergate the place ought to be extremely well maintained. Pools are still lovely and clean. Beach is outstanding but the small things can be annoying on vacation.

Great for families

Waterscape is wonderful for kids with it's zero entry pool, hot tubs, and lazy river. The upper heated pool was enjoyable, and there was never a lack of tubes for the river. The grounds are cleaned every morning around 8 a.m. with leaf blowers on low. The pool opens at 9 with the fountains starting up their noise. HOWEVER, the unit is very well sound proofed, so until you open the patio door, you don't hear a thing! The complex itself is kept clean and staff are usually visible for any needs, and are very accommodating. There are plenty of luggage carts located on the ground floor of the parking garage, and grocery carts also. Very handy. The walk to the beach is very enjoyable on the faux wood walkway that does not get hot. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. Waterscape goers get 2 chairs and umbrellas. Very nice. Everything you need is within at least a 15 minute range. The Gulfarium is a 5 minute drive. Lots of things within walking distance. The nearest grocery is across the bridge, but within 5 minutes of driving. The unit itself was nice. Carpet and couches are on their way out, but nice to have carpet nonetheless. We hate walking in the units without carpet, as sand finds its way inside always, and tile, bare-feet and sand don't mix well for comfort. We didn't have any needs besides the clothes dryer not drying loads on the first try. Usually took three cycles to dry. Placed a call into the front desk. A guy came up and said the dryer was a bit close to the wall behind it, and was possibly kinking the exhaust. I don't think that was the case, but not a deal breaker. Just a bit annoying. All in all, you and your kids will love this place.

Overall wonderful

We had a very good experience. Our door was unlocked at arrival which was mildly alarming. The lock was loose but my husband was able to fix it quickly. Everything was clean and nicely stocked. We had a good view of the ocean from our room which was nice and actually better than expected. Our baby loved all the pool areas and we did as well. Location is nice and close to everything so getting in and out was easy.

Wonderful family vacation!

We recently stayed at Waterscape for the first time (my husband and I, our two kids ages 3 and 1, and my in-laws). The resort is absolutely fantastic! It has everything a family could want: pools, close to the ocean, and close to family-friendly dining and activities. Our only complaint (and it’s very minor) was with this unit in particular. Decor is nice, but breakable and sharp objects on lower shelves proved way too enticing for our new walker. We had to remove them and put them up higher, out of his reach. Sharp kitchen tools are stored in the lower drawers, and we had to move those as well. A few of the doors didn’t close properly (to the half bath and secondary bedroom). Those were all minor inconveniences, and easily self-remedied, but I thought it would be worth sharing in case any other families with small kids book this unit. We would definitely book this unit again!

Great Family Property

Was a perfect place for an off-season family getaway. The unit even had a trove of dvds and board games for rainy days. We can't wait to go back!
