Welcome to Ingham, a charming holiday let property originally built as a fisherman’s bungalow, now thoughtfully transformed to be wheelchair accessible. Nestled in the heart of Newlyn, this well-appointed three-bedroom detached bungalow boasts stunning views across Mounts Bay and stretches to The Lizard on bright and sunny days.
Prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking view, a panorama that truly has to be seen to be believed. In our opinion, this is the best view in Cornwall. From the left, your gaze sweeps over the charming town of Penzance and its promenade. Directly in front, you are treated to the iconic sight of St Michael's Mount, majestically rising from the sea, with the historic village of Marazion nestled beside it. On clear days, the visibility stretches many miles, unveiling some of Cornwall’s most intriguing landscapes. The ever-changing sky and the shimmering waters of Mounts Bay create a mesmerizing canvas that captures the essence of Cornwall’s natural beauty. Watch as fishing boats regularly depart and return, adding a touch of maritime charm to the scene. You might even spot the Scillonian ferry making its way to and from the Scilly Isles, adding to the dynamic seascape.
This unparalleled view, combining natural splendour and local life, offers a tranquil yet vibrant backdrop to your stay at Ingham, making every moment a cherished memory.
Designed with accessibility in mind, Ingham features a smooth drive and a step-free access, ensuring seamless wheelchair access into the property. The master bedroom (Newlyn) includes a wheelchair accessible en-suite bathroom equipped with grab rails and a shower chair, providing comfort and independence. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a welcoming environment for individuals with restricted mobility.
Inside, the accommodation comprises a light and spacious modern kitchen diner, perfect for family gatherings. The large lounge, with 2 electric reclining sofas, electric recliner chair and a cozy wood-burning stove, opens directly onto a raised decked area through bi-fold doors, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The bungalow includes three bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and a modern family bathroom.
Superfast Wi-Fi and a 55 inch Smart TV take care of your entertainment needs.
The bedrooms are named Penzance, Newlyn, and Mousehole, with plaques proudly displayed, in accordance with the house's orientation to the local fishing villages. When facing out towards the sea, Penzance can be seen to the left of the house, Newlyn is straight in front, and Mousehole is to the right, reflecting the geographical positions of these charming coastal villages.
Penzance Bedroom (Double):
Step into the Penzance Bedroom, a serene retreat with a comfortable double bed and ample storage. Named after the charming fishing village, this room promises a peaceful ambiance and a restful night's sleep.
Newlyn Bedroom (Double):
The Newlyn Bedroom offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with a double bed and vibrant local artwork. Reflecting the artistic heritage of the village, this room is bathed in natural light and provides plenty of storage.
Mousehole Bedroom (Twin):
Perfect for guests seeking twin accommodation, the Mousehole Bedroom captures the essence of the quaint fishing village with two comfortable twin beds and cheerful seaside motifs. This delightful room ensures a pleasant stay for both children and adults.

Traumhafte Aussicht

Das hübsche kleine Ferienhaus liegt oberhalb von Newlyn. Nett und praktisch eingerichtet, aber leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Gute Betten, zwei schöne Badezimmer. Unschlagbar: die traumhafte Aussicht von der Terrasse auf das Wasser, Penzance und St. Michael's Mount.
