Very nice house and very clean house with everything you need. Only negative part is the noise of the exhaust fan of the neighbouring hotel, could be better in terms of value for money. Also good contact with Phay who is easy reachable. Mousehole is a beautiful and quiet place to be and relax.

Great location, beautiful sea views

Warm, cosy cottage which had everything we needed. We’ve been coming to Cornwall for many years but this is our first time staying in Mousehole. We’d love to come again!

Lovely cottage in a great location

Excellent location with great views. Cottage had everything you need for a relaxing stay. Mousehole is a quaint fishing village, not overcrowded and the harbour is picturesque with a pub (the ship) that serves good food and an excellent pint.

Fantastic little cottage

Fantastic little cottage, perfectly located for visiting west Cornwall. The property is fitted to a high standard and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottage with sea views

The cottage is in an ideal location, everything you could possibly need, lovely and clean, really enjoyed our holiday here and would definitely like to stay again. Enjoyed the bottle of wine and biscuits which were left for us too!

Mousehole-long weekend

We have stayed over long weekend in Mousehole Cottage and we loved it. Unlike many rental properties, this feels very homely. Cottage was easy to access, very clean and well equipped. It has nice space outside and lovely views. Location of the cottage is really good, 1 min walk to harbour or rock pools, shops, restaurants, galleries. Mousehole is a very charming little village. Would love to come back here for another holiday and would highly recommend booking Mousehole Cottage.

Beautiful cottage

Stunning property in the heart of Mousehole. The cottage is beautifully presented and is immaculately clean. Very comfy beds with great views looking out to sea. Kitchen was well equipped including BBQ utensils etc. Our dog Wilson, loved it, especially with a couple of dog treats upon our arrival. Best place we have stayed in the UK.

Silver Wedding celebration

We had a wonderful stay at Mousehole cottage and enjoyed exploring this part of Cornwall. The cottage has everything you need, its cozy and welcoming. Great to have parking which is limited in the village. Thank you Phay for the wine, milk & choccy biscuits. We shall be back in 2024 for another escape from real live. Mark & Mandy

Relaxing break in superb cottage

Lovely break in a beautifully converted traditional Cornish cottage. Welcomed with freshly baked scones, jam & clotted cream with a bottle of wine. Even the dog was left tasty biscuits & her own towel. Mousehole itself is quaint with countless cafes and art galleries but no traditional shops other than a post office selling a few groceries. Very regular bus service to local towns with the bus stop right outside the cottage . The parking space was a god send and also fantastic that did not need to drive through the narrow congested streets going through Mousehole. Good amenities,shops & beaches within a short driving distance. Trip to the Minack theatre was unmissable.

mousehole cottage

Just returned from relaxing break in mousehole. The cottage is lovely and a perfect holiday home. I walked the dog on the shoreline every morning as it only took 30 seconds to get there. The cottage is very clean and bright and has all mod cons needed. Its a perfect base for exploring this part of cornwall, most of the good beaches are no more than a 15/20 drive. The parking advertised is not ready yet but had no problem parking in car park a few metres away and there was no one on duty so it was free!(its only £2 a day anyway). Our 8 year old loved it there, so kid friendly too. There is a good bus service and there is a stop outside the cottage that takes you too Penzance, so car not strictly necessary, but vital if you want to get off the beaten track. Owner very friendly and helpful.

Lovely week in Mousehole Cottage

The location of this cottage is superb. Even though the weather was not the kindest, the cottage has great views of the sea and it was very atmospheric watching the wild sea from the upstairs window. Being just before the main village (but still only a 2 minute walk to the harbour) meant that there was no issue with having to get the car through the narrow streets. The parking space very close to the cottage is tight but enough for a Mercedes Estate. All the communication with Phay and the booking etc was very easy and clear. Thanks for a great week!

Comfortable, friendly, everything went smoothely

This was a very nice cottage, very welcoming. The flowers upon arrival were a lovely touch. The view of the sea was somewhat occluded but I doubt we could have gotten a better view at this price. It was a great weak and Phay was very helpful the one time we needed anything. Thx!

Lovely property. More information needed in relation to check in and access.

Great location and lovely house. Travelling with elderly parents it would have been beneficial to have known that access to the premises is via some steep steps and a narrow uneven unpaved alley. Additionally the placement of the key press is not ideal for all ages / physical conditions.

Mousehole Cottage

The location was our reason for choosing the cottage but the property was such a find! It was so comfortable, clean and everything you could wish for was provided. The added bonus was dedicated parking so nearby. We had a fabulous break and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone requiring a relaxing break in a lovely cottage.

Cornish Treat!

Lovely cottage, perfectly located in the beautiful fishing village of Mousehole. With private off-street parking and being so close to the harbour, this was a rare find that didn’t disappoint! With sea views and plenty of space for us all (4 adults and a lab), it was the perfect Cornish treat!

Lovely cottage in a great location

We had a fantastic week at Mousehole Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The location is excellent and we loved being able to stroll into Mousehole. A car parking space was a bonus.
