"This was the perfect place for our family. Our three daughters shared one room, and my wife and I the other. There is access to the bathroom from both rooms. The living room was comfortable to watch our Dawgs beat the Crimson Tide during our stay. Two minute drive to Seal Harbor beach, and five minute drive to Jordan Pond. Outstanding experience!"

"We had a wonderful stay in Acadia thanks to Jenny's hospitality and her beautiful home in Seal Harbor. The property was exactly as listed, with some extra touches we absolutely loved. The living room and kids' bedroom were stocked with books and games that made our cozy evenings in so enjoyable. The towels and toiletries provided were very nice, and it was especially thoughtful that beach towels were on hand for beach adventures. The sweet welcome note waiting for us on arrival was the perfect finishing touch. We can't wait to come back!"

"Lovely VRBO in MD. View was beautiful. Spacious with plenty of beds, blankets, pillows and towels. Close to a Walmart( we placed pickup order). Lobster rolls and blueberry ice cream close by. Loved that laundry pods and dryer sheets were provided and an abundance of games, dvds, and puzzles with a Roku. Carls communication was great- we definitely will come back. Thank you"

"Feedback:Loved the location. Convenient to the beach and bike rental shop. Easy drive to Bar Harbor.The kitchen is well equipped for quick meals, but there is no dishwasher. Small Safety issue - A light is needed by the front door near the entrance so that the dark staircase can be safely navigated at dark. It was hard to see.Bathroom:Towel bar kept falling apart. One end bracket was very loose and needed to be re attached. The plumbing fixture over the sink was too large, A nice design but such a large size fixture over the sink made it hard to use the sink.Main bedroom:The top dresser drawer is broken. Suggest they invest in some sturdier furniture.The deck is not accessible from the unit. You have to exit the unit downstairs walk to the rear of the unit and climb a flight of stairs to access the deck. By and large, I really liked our little abode!"

"Very clean, quaint farmhouse exactly as described. Heard a little road noise as was clearly described but it was not an issue for us at all. Very convenient location. Comfortable bed, pillows, and seating. Plush towels. Lovely extras provided such as cheese & crackers, wine, single-serve condiment packages, coffee creamers, & coffee. Well-stocked and functioning kitchen. Would gladly stay again."

"We enjoyed our time at Echo Pines and would stay here again. The coffee station was great! Kitchen was well equipped and included a nice array of spices too. The two bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are pretty steep. So, if you have children or a small dog (like we do) you may want to block the stairs. The beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms were well stocked and very clean.The basket of maps and information about the area was helpful. Ellen even provides binoculars! Be sure to take them along on your morning walks to spot the loons on the lake.We liked the proximity to trails on the quiet side. Hiked Acadia Mountain, St Sauveur, Flying Mountain, Valley Peak, and around Echo Lake. Wonderland and Ship Harbor are more gentle trails with beautiful views. We also had tickets for afternoon and sunrise at Cadillac Mountain. If you can, go in the afternoon BEFORE so you can enjoy the views and scout out the location you are comfortable with for the sunrise. We really enjoyed walking the Bar Island Trail during low tide at sunset. We got some great pictures. Followed by dinner downtown in Bar Harbor. Enjoyed our trip! And loved staying at Echo Pines."
