「A wonderful three day stay, comfy beds, lovely views, idylic location. Nothing too much trouble. Great walks from the lodge. Star gazing from the hot tub and glorious weather, what’s not to love.」

Only issue was we never saw that we where to put down the electricity reading on the evening we arrived as it was later at night and it was only on the last day we realised we where to also pay for our electricity. 「The place was clean and comfortable and is beautifully situated in the picturesque Scottish Highlands just a short distance from a wonderful little town with historic and geographic sites. The staff is friendly and available should any needs arise. The stove, refrigerator, television--with access to Amazon and Netflix--were all in perfect working condition. It is a wonderful little place to spend some time alone or with close family. I will definitely return at my earliest opportunity!!」

「A few minor details no salt or pepper pots,bathroom mirror too low kept hitting it while washing and shaving.When viewing the property on line I was led to believe the property was detached,the area fishing wasn’t to my liking.Would I stay here again ? Maybe.」

「Lodges are lovely and very comfortable. The swimming pool and changing rooms need attention. We stayed in February 2025 and 1 of the 2 showers in the women’s changing room was out of order. We have just stayed there again and it’s still out of order. The working shower is clearly getting overused so the drain blocks quickly and you end up standing in a big puddle of water as it won’t drain. Not the cleanest shower, grout etc either 」

Carried luggage’s upstairs

"The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs "
