Our stay at this country home outside Pertuis was exactly what we had hoped for. Our hostess, Corrine, was incredibly helpful and accommodating; she was around when we needed her, but never intrusive. Her English language skills were as limited as our French, but we were very successful at exchanging important information via e-mail (and google translate). We also managed to have very pleasant and fun verbal exchanges fumbling our way through the language gap with smiles. The home was very clean and comfortable, and the surrounding grounds and region were beautiful and peaceful. The swimming pool was very well maintained and a refreshing way to end our days touring the area. If you're looking for a polished high-end hotel-style experience, this may not be the location for you. If you're seeking a soulful, relaxing country setting amidst the rolling hills of Provence and away from the sounds of the city this is the place for you.
