"I would never visit Austin again, NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY CITY"

"This hotel has really gone downhill. It was Valentine's weekend and also the Austin Marathon was going on. The hotel booked some Texas A&M event the same weekend as well. It was at 100% capacity. This should be fine - a hotel should be able to be full and run without issues. However, it was not okay. They have six elevators of which only two were operational. TWO!!!! It took over 45 minutes to just get up to our room once we checked in (14th floor so stairs not possible with suitcases) and then when we needed to head down for dinner out (had 7:30pm reservations) we left our room at 6:30p to be sure to catch an elevator down…we were late for our reservation and almost lost it —on Valentine’s Day!!! So then the breakfast that we paid an extra $50 for, it ended at 10am, so we went to head down at 9am, never made it. By 9:50am, we went back and grabbed all our things and just left the room. We finally had to call down and complain until they sent a freight elevator to get us. It took us 1 hour 48 minutes to get OUT of the hotel. Horrible experience. I will NEVER return. If you cannot operate basic functions at full capacity, then you DO NOT BOOK TO THAT LEVEL!!! And worst part, I’ve STILL not heard back from Hilton about it - it’s officially been over month today - crickets!!!!"

"Case no 27539344 Angelo I spoke with support staff multiple times in regards with a refund of one night stay. My flight was delayed more than five hours and I reached out to cancel my hotel room and to recieve a refund for the second night. I am still recieving surveys from the Holiday Inn Express in Austin as if I stayed there. Angelo, said he would reach out within 48 hours and no word OR Follow up at all.... I then went on toe speak to 2 more agents to no avail. I am requesting that I receive a credit to my account of one night stay ASAP based on the LACK of customer service and response for status updates."

"There is construction next to the hotel that starts at 6:30 am which when you arrive from Los Angeles means is 3:30 am. Had to sleep both morning on the cold marble floor in the bathroom and the hotel made no gestures after many complaints. The worst experience. Not good to stay at all and definitely for that money ! "

"Property was very clean and inviting looking. Pool area was very nice. Excellent food options. Great location. Was able to walk to all parts of the city. Only complaint was that there is a daily resort fee. As part of that, they advertise bikes and stand up paddle boards. I think they only have 2 bikes bc they were never available and the paddle boards weren’t available until 11:00. We walked a few minutes down the river and found a rental place open at 9:00 am, so we paid to rent them. "

"Breakfast was definitely a "grab & go" and limited stock. No fruit or yogurt available. Coffee was lukewarm close to the end."
