"My family really enjoyed our stay. The setting of the town and hotel/bed and breakfast was so fun. It takes you back a little for sure. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed exploring the town. There are no tvs in the rooms so it forced the kids and us to explore. We found the fun museums and businesses around as well as the park at the school. We chose to drive about 6 miles to Arrow Rock for supper and ate at Catalpa. We would definitely eat at Catalpa again. The next morning we enjoyed exploring more in Blackwater, sitting on the rooftop balcony, playing cards and thouroughly enjoyed our breakfast. Nichole was so welcoming and a fantastic host. My wife is planning a return visit soon with her friend."

"We stayed here for daughter’s graduation weekend. It was close to Mizzou, but still far enough away to be able to have a relaxing weekend far from the chaos of campus. Lots of space to spread out, great deck, super clean, responsive hosts, and close to cute shops & the Katy Trail. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The room the first night was clean and nice. Once we saw that the room was nice we checked back in for the rest of our trip. The next room was terrible. The door was missing the chain lock. The heater AC button would not change temperature. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. The shower head only sprayed a straight stream. The towels were all stained and one smelled like paint thinner. The toilet had marks in the bowl of prior problems and sure enough it stopped up first use in the middle of the night. Over flowed onto the floor."

"The price was great for graduation from University of Mizzou. We didn’t mind the 30 min drive to Columbia when we had this quaint town to visit. We stayed three days and nights. Check in and out was met by some of the friendliest staff to welcome you and make suggestions. The room is absolutely fantastic, top notch! Bed for both of us was a great nights sleep. Cleanest rooms with plenty of towels and nice bath wash in the shower dispenser. The highlight of the hotel was definitely the koi fish outside. Bring quarters and feed some fish. I walked around to the right side, aiming for the tiniest fish to get some food. Gambling, well I made my donations. My husband won one the first spin with tigers, so he cashed out ahead. Typical gambling for us. We didn’t try the food on site, but walking to Main Street Cafe via Katy Trail was delightful. Yesterday we enjoyed the Derailed Coffee Shop and it was so amazing! So many coffee and vegetarian choices. Take a walk in the Katy Trail and go exploring the shops. Boonville is a very nice town with shops all within walking distance. "

"Our stay was very pleasant. My only complaint is the lady doing the breakfast. She wasn't very nice at all. Picked my brother up from the hospital so we had just shown up and the end. However she didn't even let us finish getting our breakfast before cleaning everything up. My opinion should hire people that our friendly"
