The food is great, the breakfast was the best part for me. I was very pleased to see you get to order from a menu at breakfast and everything felt like great quality.
Staff were really friendly too. ”
“Great location with on site free parking to get straight into Salisbury but also fabulous for visiting the beautiful Cathedral which our room had a view of as well as great included breakfast. No fans, hair dryer, iron or tv in the rooms but a kettle,ctea & coffee is. If out exploring, yhen this is a great base.”
“Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”
“ Room was comfortable although the basin taps moved andone of the screws was missing from the hook on the bathroom door so couldnt really hang anything up but all minor issues.Lovely view from the window overlooking the courtyard.Very pleasant stay”
“Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street.
Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks.
Plenty of car parking right opposite”
“It’s location is near the center of the city, very convenient for the sightseeing.
There is a nice pub in the groundfloor and there we drunk nice beer and enjoyed wonderful dinner.
The staffs are very kind.”
“Spotlessly clean. I stayed during a heatwave and the room was kindly provided with air-con type fans. Parking was easy and staff helpful and friendly.”
“Nicely furnished room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. All staff friendly and accommodating. Wide range of dining options for dinner, breakfast a great spread available and recommend the breakfast bap. Tiny minus point, my wife’s eggs Benedict had overdone eggs. Would definitely revisit. ”
“Friendly staff, proper country pub vibes but lovely and quiet room that was clean and comfy. Parking was a little confusing as the car park is very small, but road parking is available all around. Shower was a bit low on pressure but a personal preference. Would strongly recommend to anyone visiting the area or heading further south/west as a stop over!”
