Great location, apt had issues.
The location was great and was in walking distance to many great attractions. However we were unfamiliar with the area and it would have been great to have some information on what to do in the apartment and local maps. There is no parking included at the apartment. We had to park in public lots down the street so that was a large unexpected cost. I asked the landlord for extra towels and bedding for the futon bed, I was questioned as to why I wanted extra towels and bedding. It had to futons-but no sheets or blankets were provided. I had to explain that my son and I do not share a bed. He never responded that he would supply them, so we had to find a store and purchase our own. They did drop some off but did not communicate. The ceiling by the kitchen area was leaking and we woke up to a puddle of water that covered the kitchen area. Every time I emailed throughout the day, there was no follow up. When we got home for the day, no one had come and I had to clean it all up. Thankfully it stopped raining. Beware if you are there and it rains. Also the downstairs wall heater would not turn off. I emailed the owner asking how to turn it off and he never responded to my question. It was very hot in the apartment. Thankfully they did have the AC units in the windows.
