We had a very disappointing stay. The dogs on the property are kept behind a chain-link fence and bark aggressively almost nonstop, even when we were inside our room. It made it very difficult to relax or get any quiet.The dog run area smelled strongly of feces and there were flies everywhere around that area. The unit itself sits behind a main house that appears poorly maintained, with visible trash and abandoned vehicles around the property, which was not what we expected from the listing.Inside the unit, the TV did not work and the futon is extremely uncomfortable. The listing says the space accommodates four people, but realistically it would be difficult for even two people to stay comfortably.Communication with the host was also very unpleasant. When we raised concerns through VRBO messages, the host became rude and dismissive and at one point said, “listen lady, you don’t know who you’re talking to.” Rather than addressing the issues, he demanded photos and refused to take accountability.Overall, the property and experience did not match the listing and we would not stay here again.I’d give it zero stars if that was an option.
