「This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....
「Lovely, quiet B&B on a farm. Location is remote, which made it a peaceful stay. There was plenty of parking available. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom and a strong wi-fi signal.
The owner recommended a local pub, which was a 10-minute drive away. The food and beer were excellent! Breakfast the next morning was superb. The host was very helpful throughout.」

Shout out to the chef, each dish was beautifully presented and so delicious. We enjoyed every course and then took a walk around the gorgeous gardens. Our room (Luke) was spacious, beautifully decorated with views over the gardens and the bed super comfy. Relaxing in the spa and time around the outdoor pool made for a perfect mini break.
