"Smoke detectors are needed in stairways to help enforce no smoking. We had to use the stairs multiple times from the third floor during a power outage. (Outage was not related to the property, it was widespread due to a storm. The stench of cigarette smoke was too much in the first exit I tried and I didn’t use it. It was 100% dark anyhow. Of the three stairways I utilized while loading car from third floor there was only ONE light between the second and third floor. Totally black otherwise. Very unsafe. I believe lights are required in emergency exits to work even during a power outage. Only reason I didn’t give this stay a “5”. Staff very friendly. Rooms and property very clean. Felt very safe. Would stay again. With a flashlight. 😉"

"Late arrival. Nice young man to check us in and get my husband a ground level room. Four of us in the room and only three towels. We all enjoyed breakfast. I would have loved to have some fruit. Thank you."

"you forgot to tell us the building was half torn down, no signs on the building, mattresses everywhere parts and supplies all around the place where you park. the manager was very nice and willing to help us. picture on the ad was not even close!!! and this is how expedia does business?"

"The only downfall was the queen mattress needs to be replaced. It sunk down on one side. "

"Amazing! I Pulled in at 11pm after driving 13 hours of driving. Great location in between Lexington & Knoxville. Great deal online & im pretty sure owner gave me a free upgrade. Clean, comfortable & i slept like a rock. Carefull with your speed on main strip. So easy to do 20 mph over. Fantastic vending machine prices. Sorry i slept thru breakfast so no review. I got to meet son in the morning. Great family business. I'll be back next spring. "

"Construction going on, some clutter and just messy down stairs and around the lobby. Rooms were nice clean and comfy. I've stayed at Hamptons quite a bit so a little out of character."

"We had an enjoyable stay here, though not feeling like it was exactly up to par with what I would’ve expected from them. Hotel was clean enough, and the staff was very helpful. Our first room‘s air conditioner was obnoxiously loud, but they were kind enough and quick to switch us to another room not a fan of the top sheet and bottom sheet sandwich over top of a blanket type thing so the bed felt sloppy and cheap for this particular brand of hotel. The slightly better than average beds were hard pillows were great. Breakfast was included, but the bare minimum. Great location OK for the money."
