This property was amazing! Spectacular views, clean, beautifully decorated, all amenities, game room...the list could go on. The host was quick to respond and was able to get us an early check-in. We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to Pittsburgh.

Second Stay

This was the second time we stayed at this property and once again it did not disappoint. The property, view, amenities, and communication was excellent. There is construction taking place on the street but it did not affect our stay at. Will definitely stay again when we visit Pittsburgh. Thank you again Terri.

Awesome property

You will not be disappointed if you stay @ this home. The view is awesome, the property is clean and well equipped, and Terri is great to work with. The house is on a very steep road but once you arrive the view is worth it. Would definitely stay here again when we are in Pittsburgh.

great stay will be back

This home was perfectly located to access all Pittsburgh has to offer. The house is well appointed, with a wonderful kitchen, and the views can't be beat. Easy to use tech (wifi, tv, etc) made our stay hassel free. There's also 3 parking spots which is appreciated. Owners were excellent communicators and very helpful.

This house checks all the boxes -- cleanliness, view, location, amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and totally usable. The bathrooms are beautiful and the beds comfy. The decks are out of this world. Would stay here again. Thanks for a delightful stay.

Fantastic views

The property sits high above the river, providing spectacular views of the city. Every room is situated to take full advantage of the sweeping views with large windows and two decks, one deck attached to the primary bedroom. The home has modern decor and amenities. We found it warm and inviting. The large kitchen is well appointed with gourmet appliances. Although we didn’t prepare any meals, the kitchen has all the necessities we would need, and then some. The property is very clean. The only negative for us is the exterior noise. There are trains at the bottom of the mountain that run all day and a fair amount through the night. Also, the noise of the city travels much farther than we expected, likely due to the accoustics provided by the river. Cars or motorcycles speeding along the streets either were distinctly heard from inside the house, in the wee hours of the night. For us light sleepers, it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. If not for the noise factor, we would return to this property.

Everything as advertised and more!

Stayed over Christmas and the owners had a tree decorated, which made a world of difference. The views are spectacular, and even though the weather was brutal for a couple of days, we were very cozy. The house is superbly equipped and has almost everything you need, if you forget something. Thanks for using bathroom containers that don't require the Hubble telescope to read the labels! When we're in Pittsburgh this will be our home from home. Thanks for the great stay.

Beautiful view and convenient location

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house has an interesting design and the view from the patio overlooking downtown Pittsburgh cannot be beat. This property exceeded our expectations and we'd gladly stay again.

Decks and tech

Near the top of Mount Washington, this property has amazing views of the Pittsburgh downtown skyline from all rooms as well as the two level decks. The inside of the home appears brand new with a great kitchen. House wide connected Alexa and Ring doorbell create a cool tech vibe and the artwork is cool modern chic. A spotless and welcoming home super close to downtown and the rest of this easily managed city. Probably no better private home to be rented in the area.

Comfortable Luxury

This home is lovely with modern, high-end furnishings and finishes, yet is also very comfortable. The beds and linens are high quality and cozy. The deck is amazing as are the views. We enjoyed dinner on the patio. There is a great sound system and the internet TV is easy to use with your own logins. We spent one evening watching movies on the living room sofa which is surprisingly comfortable. And we enjoyed playing the video games in the basement. The neighborhood is very nice, with great restaurants. The location is convenient for getting around, which can be tricky in Pittsburgh. The rules with regard to visitors are a bit restrictive. We understand that they're probably in place to prevent parties, but we rented a home so that we could have family and friends come to us instead of dragging our 2.5 year old around, and to maximize our time/visit while she napped. The lighting on the main floor is a bit bright. It would be much more comfortable if the bulbs were a lower wattage or on a dimmer switch. We recommend stocking resuable plastic cups, because the only drinkware options are stemless wine glasses or cermamic coffee mugs... not ideal for children (or clumsy adults). But otherwise, the kitchen was very well equipped. The hosts even left snack! The only seating for dining indoors are high-top chairs around the kitchen countertop, but the outdoor dining table is a great alternative, weather-permitting, if you can't sit on a high-top. The master bedroom has skylights, which is a plus for most people, but being a light sleeper from a different time zone, it didn't work for me or my toddler, so we slept in the other rooms. The property is above the train tracks, and the train whistles start blowing at 5am and continue periodically througout the morning. Again, for this light sleeper from a different time zone, it was a problem, even with earplugs and a noise machine. My husband and daugther, however, managed to sleep through it. If not for the trains, we would definitely return to this property and highly recommend it if you're not a light sleeper.

Amazing House with More Amazing Views

We enjoyed a long weekend at this house. Beautiful, modern furnishings and colorful artwork. Nice, big kitchen, with basic pots, pans, and utensils that made it easy to prepare a meal ourselves one night. Lots of attention to detail—the master bedroom had MagSafe phone chargers on each side, plenty of towels in each room, and detailed instructions for things like the arcade game and fire pit. Speaking of the fire pit, the view of downtown was amazing and we enjoyed time on the balcony! The owners went above and beyond, leaving Easter candy throughout the house for our preschooler to find. Great stay, would go again and highly recommend to others!

Celebration of Life

Our family was in town to celebrate the life of our uncle who passed after 84 years of living in Pittsburgh. It was a perfect place to stay and reflect on all things Pittsburgh. The view of the beautiful city was breathtaking. The house was clean and well kept. Unfortunately the outdoor furniture was wet due to a snow storm prior to our visit but we still enjoyed the deck. Thank you Terri for checking in on us to make sure everything was perfect! We will be back for sure!

Neat property in the hills

This house is cool! It has a great kitchen, neat art, and modern furnishings. With the views, you feel like you're having a luxury experience. We went in winter, but in the nice weather it's probably amazing to take advantage of the large porches. We went with three little ones and brought our own baby gates. Some notes for other families. The base trim makes it challenging to use gates, you'll have to move them up higher. Also, the only dining seating is at the kitchen counter with high stool/chairs. It's doable but be prepared. We were glad there were not too many knick knacks and breakable things so I could move move stuff out of the way from my kids. Less is more! The hosts mentioned this was a semi new property for them so we hope they add a few more items like oven mitts, additional bathroom matt for the master bedroom, a few more kitchen items would be good. Other than that, all the basics are there and everything was truly lovely. The trip to the property is a bit challenging to negotiate. The house resides along a narrow dead end, with a hairpin decent that is quite intimidating, especially during winter and it's iciness. We had rented a large vehicle to carry all our humans and gear, and while it was tight, we were able to shimmy up and down the road and park on the parking pad they have. A medium sized SUV or smaller would have no problem. We plan to book again during the warmer months and look forward to another stay there.
