「I love the owners. It was very welcoming and made friends with the other people staying there.」

「Precioso hotel en la playa. Personal muy servicial y amable. Zona de la piscina preciosa. Puedes ver fauna local en sus instalaciones.」

「Angelo was so helpful with after hours check in. This place is adorable. The room had a kitchen and that is a great addition if you are staying longer than a night. The pool was nice and refreshing. There is an outdoor sitting space outside your room that is nice as well.」

「Excelente servicio Todo el Staff excelente Barny excelente anfitrión」

「Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand.」

「Wirklich toll hier. Alle sehr aufmerksam. Die Häuser sind sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden.」

「The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea.」

「Our rental was incredible and spacious.」

「Our favorite place Beach front, with all amenities needed when traveling with the family. Ideal for kids」

「Cerca de las mejores playas. Hay que subir unos 100 metros para llegar al hotel, pero todo bien. Desayuno bueenisimo!」

「Our family stayed for a second time at the Kukula Lodge and it again exceeded expectations. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are extremely well-kept, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is plentiful and delicious . . . and the lodge is just a few minutes' walk to the beach. To top it off, the price is very reasonable- what more could you want? It was truly a pleasure to stay at Kukula Lodge and we will certainly be back!」

「Overall it was a fine stay, but I believe it’s not worth the price paid. On one side it has hot shower, aircon, big smart TV, shared kitchen, great location and a comfortable bed; however on the other side it’s a bit run down inside the room, not properly finished & needs a deep clean on the shower. Our cabin was noisy from the unit upstairs and woke us up at 7am due to the noise, and there was also a water pump outside making noise every few seconds. The communication was also a bit poor when...
