“Pros- great location two blocks from 5th Ave, food was good and gorgeous hotel. Rooms are well appointed and lots of room. Staff was nice but not always helpful with requests. Cons: elevators out for a while now so stairs the entire trip. We asked for more pillows didn’t get them, asked for AC to be turned down took multiple calls to get it done. Needed to break some American bills down and they said they could but nobody would when we went to the person we were directed to. Hotel beach over……

“This property was beautiful on the outside with a great pool scene. It is also conveniently located just steps away from Playa Mamita Beach and 5th Avenue. HOWEVER, internally, the room was quite run down and dirty. Many electrical outlets didn't work. The entire hotel's water was shut of during the middle of the night secondary to reportedly repeated water pump failures explained to me by the manager of the property. There was no blackout curtain to the large sliding door to the balcony. There……

“Good stay for a few days at this hotel in Playa del Carmen in early June to decompress after diving both on Cozumel and the cenotes south of Playa. Nice location in the middle of a lot of activity — shops, restaurants, bars, etc. But the room was quiet and not noisy at all. The hotel is a few blocks off the ocean but beach activites this time of year are undermined by seaweed infestation.
