「This place is an amazing hidden gem in Manuel Antonio! It is a perfect stay for anyone looking for unique, chic, extremely clean but simple! Wonderful modern amenities including air condition and a TV but with such beautiful scenery you likely won’t even turn it on, all within this quaint B&B! 「Amazing experience. Close to wildlife.」

「Beautiful property located in a great location. We saw the most wildlife from the hotel and saw all three types of monkeys, scarlet macaws, and yellow-throated tucans, all from our balcony! Lastly, Moses the bartender is phenomenal and a great host, and very welcoming. Could not recommend a better place than Ecotica! 」

「The included breakfast is amazing—two courses! The bathrooms/showers are very tight in spacing, but there are bigger bathrooms in the attached restaurant section. Those bathrooms/showers are shared by all in the hostel, including those with private rooms (which was fine, never had to wait to use facilities). There is no A/C, so realize that it can get quite hot in the rooms, especially during the day (it’ll get hotter than outside temp, even with the fan). The host is incredibly friendly. I’d...

「I loved the cleanliness. Even the bathrooms by the pool were clean and well kept. The entire staff was very nice and accommodating. The included breakfast was also great. 」

「Our room was filthy. We got there and keys under mat. Although the owner was in 1 of 4 apts he never told us about housekeeping (there was none) or trash or hoe to operate the outsode washer. He juat said hi. We had to ask for a garbage bag. We were there 7 days and wont do that again. No where to eat unless you take a bus. It was NOT a few minutes walk from beach or anything. The bed uncomfortable and towels stunk. Never again. 」
