「I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. 」

「The staff at the cafe at night, can greet approaching customers. That be hospitable. They stay quiet in front of you, leading customers to address them first.」

「Third time I’ve been to Delfin! Access to the beautiful, uncrowded beach right in front, complete with beach chairs and umbrellas, can’t be beat. Rooms aren’t fancy but are comfortable (the new mattresses are great!), and the AC was strong. Eduardo is my favorite bartender! I do wish they’d rethink the strategy of day passes for big groups (can hurt the experience for guests who are staying at the hotel and expect easy access to pool chairs, cabana, dining room, etc.). 」

「Breakfast choice limited but fine. Staff very helpful. Felt like a Costa Rica hotel, not a big chain, but still had what we needed - good aircon in room, swimming pool, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, close to beach and lots of restaurants.」

「Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely breathtaking! Sitting under the covered patio during the afternoon showers was so relaxing. We saw over 40 species of birds on the property. The property is situated so you can see all the macaws flying over the water to roost each night. We absolutely loved this spot!」
